What could be a better weekendgetaway than a trip to Canmore, Alberta, and a helicopter tour over the Rockies? We took the 30 -minute Mount Assiniboine tour with Alpine Helicopters in Canmore. Here, you see Marvel and Gloria Lakes in the foreground and Aye Mountain, just across the border in British Columbia. They give you headphones, with microphones to talk during the tour, but we were simply speechless!!

„Overall, we loved our stay. Extremely convenient location on the mountain where you can put your skis on as soon as you step out the door to glide to a chairlift. The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. "Sehr schönes Hotel in Kimberley mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Es wurde Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Die Klimaanlage in unsere Zimmer war leider ziemlich veraltet und laut und hat es nicht geschafft das Zimmer auf eine erträgliche Temperatur runter zu kühlen. "

"Mountain View meaning straight away on the highway - loud and not a chance to get a room in the back. Breakfast of really poor quality - only fresh product remaining was one last orange an hour before the end of breakfast.specifically as an European I will never understand the throw away plastic cutlery concept. Takes away the breakfast rooms rustic charme in a blink of an eye - Canada you can do better. Staff seemed modestly motivated, along with the overall state of the premises. Unused potential nestled between the mountains."
