What could be a better weekendgetaway than a trip to Canmore, Alberta, and a helicopter tour over the Rockies? We took the 30 -minute Mount Assiniboine tour with Alpine Helicopters in Canmore. Here, you see Marvel and Gloria Lakes in the foreground and Aye Mountain, just across the border in British Columbia. They give you headphones, with microphones to talk during the tour, but we were simply speechless!!

« Il s’agit d’une belle trouvaille. Nous avons choisi d’y faire un arrêt avant d’aller aux hot springs de Radium. Nous avons découvert un très beau petit chalet avec toutes commodités. Un magasin général avec qq affaires nous ont permis de se faire un bon BBQ. Un espace à feu extérieur pour profiter de l’extérieur. Tout était très bien,tranquille et très intime. « We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, tidy cabin. There are two beds in the upstairs loft, one large bedroom on the second (main) level, as well as a bedroom on the lower level where the entrance is located. We loved the log cabin feel and being able to use the wood fireplace. « Overall, we loved our stay. Extremely convenient location on the mountain where you can put your skis on as soon as you step out the door to glide to a chairlift. The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Our unit had a double bunk bed in one room, but there was no ladder to the very high top bunk which made it a bit of a challenge to get to... fortunately, we had a young crew that handled it ok. We had arranged for 3 parking passes in advance, yet when we arrived, there were none left...

« We had such a wonderful stay at this home in Panorama! It was perfect for our family - spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The backyard was beautiful and made for a great spot to relax, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking together. « Big house served well for our big party of 14. Our family gathered to celebrate my husband's birthday, and all us had fun. Several bedrooms with king size beds and comfy pillows, qite well equipped kitchen, big deck with comfy couches and a heater. Hot tub and a fire-pit were nice additions. Beatiful backyard. The cons are: 10 am check out, outdated bathrooms, no bathroom upstairs and the only one bath for 5 bedrooms. Would stay again! »
