« We took many photos of the entire flat on arrival. Very well decorated and obviously very recently refurbished. Unfortunately, we had to call support team prior to arrival as the listing and information we received gave name and postcode, but no house number or street! Also information on exactly which refuse bin to use on departure would be helpful! »

« The apartment was very clean and comfortable and there was a couple of minor issues but when I contacted the owner he was straight on it immediately. I’d definitely recommend them. »

« A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find. »

« This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc… »

« Charming apartment in the center of town, close to excellent pubs and dining. Extremely helpful host who was willing to do whatever it took to accommodate our travel plans. We would return in a heartbeat to explore more of what Ayr and the surroundings have to offer. »

« Great location for my stay in Ayr - stone's throw from beach access and easy walk to High Street shops. Simple and clean place in a quiet building. »

« Not a luxury apartment, kitchen and living room are nice enough, bedroom is not that pleasant and bathroom was completely awful- shower barely worked, smelt of cigarette smoke, poor lighting, no shelves that could be used. »

« Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage. »

« Didn’t smell fresh, Mattress and pillows need protectors,wand needed for blinds to open and close. Attention to detail, ie grout in shower,and kitchen worktop.Place mats for table and small coffee table would be useful for hot drinks. »
