« They never got me after hours check in information so we ended up stranded at the airport. After the fact, I found an attempt to call me once through “WhatsApp”. They had my email and we had corresponded through it previously, but they did not attempt to contact me through it or messaging to gain information they may have needed or to give me directions on hotel accommodations. »

« Chambre propre et fonctionnelle avec sa sa salle d'eau privative. Même si on n'a pas vu l'hôte, le process d'entrée autonome est bien expliqué et pratique. Une cuisine commune (propre et équipée) nous a permis prendre notre petit déjeuner tranquillement. Située dans un quartier résidentiel calme, la rue principale de Kidlington est à 15 min à pied et il est donc facile de se rendre à Oxford en bus. La chambre est aussi facilement accessible en bus depuis la gare d'Oxford Parkway. Seuls bémols:...

« Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

« Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel ou plutôt appartement tout confort , proche des commodités, tout équipé avec wifi et place de parking juste devant. Je recommande vivement ! »

« Appartement propre et suffisamment spacieux pour 3 personnes. Il faut toutefois améliorer les points suivants : - changer la porte d'entrée des appartements par des portes mieux adaptés (pour l'isolation phonique) - revoir l'occultation des fenêtres (changer les stores ou mettre des rideaux occultant) - renouveler/compléter les accessoires de cuisines (ajouter des assiettes, des verres à eau/café, casseroles, poêles, et éventuellement une cafetières). »

« This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). « Pretty clean, nice walk to town centre and transit. Parking a bit tight by North American standards. Lift available. Beds comfy and the owners/property managers as well as the cleaner were all wonderful. »
