« We went to Sherwood to celebrate a family event. The house was perfect - lots of room for everyone. Check-in was simple, house was in excellent condition and the owners made every effort to accommodate our needs (some extra equipment for little kids). We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful setting. « Such a unique and lovely spot! Perfect for our weekend getaway. So many small touches that made us feel so welcomed. I didn’t pay attention to the pictures to notice it’s lifted out of the water, but with the wind & rain overnight we were thankful as we still heard the water lapping underneath but didn’t get the same rolling all of the nearby docked boats had. Just steps from the Big Owl Tiki Bar where we had the best crabcake sandwiches. Will definitely be back, thanks again! »

« Beautiful experience. The property was right on the bay with spectacular views and sunsets. The house itself was wonderful. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and antiques.The kitchen had everything needed. AC and overhead fans provided excellent comfort. Kayaks and a canoe were great for cruising on the bay. They also had bikes available (we brought our own). Biking is a pleasure on the rural and flat terrain of the Eastern shore. « Beautiful little cottage with plenty of privacy. Our hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed visits from their dog Vinnie! The cottage was very clean and everything was provided. Rock Hall is an amazing little town with beautiful views, food and people. Will definitely be visiting again. You won’t regret booking the cottage. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this kitschy, cool, rustic cabin with a million-dollar view. Communing with the ospreys, hummingbirds and the bald eagle who perched numerous times on a nearby tree was an added bonus. And, the owner may be the most friendly/helpful we’ve ever rented from. We hope to be back some day. Thanks! »

« Just finished a 2-night stay here, and it was fantastic. I'm a clean freak, and this rental was SUPER clean! My son attends the Naval Academy, and he was able to stay with me for one of the nights. Beds were comfy, and it was nice having a TV in both bedrooms. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had, and it was great having a washer and dryer available to use. I would definitely stay again! »

« Wonderful spot for large group. House was massive. Comfortably slept 17 of us. The views of the canals were great and close to Annapolis. Would definitely come back. »

« The Oaks is in an absolutely perfect location and checks all the boxes a large family needs for a stay. We booked it for our wedding at the AYC for close family and it was far superior to booking 6 hotel rooms where everyone would have been locked in their own rooms. They hung out and spent a great time together on the main level. It was nice to be at a historic home with all the fun quirks. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! »

« My Husband and I stayed here between 7/27 to 7/30/2025 on our trip through Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland. The camper was lovely and, honestly, it was more modern than some of the house in our home town. It was beautiful and was a wonderful stay! We were really shocked at how it felt more like we were staying in a house than a trailer! The hosts provided a clean, comfortable, and unique stay for us, information about launching necessities in the area, and were professional and kind. We...
