« Stunning visit- stayed just for 1 night but could not have been better. Upgraded room to Suite which was stunning. Flawless service, great food, and the Spa was brilliant. Thanks to all the team, really special stay. Feedback note- some confusion between kitchen and hotel services as to whether breakfast was included- kitchen disputed whether it was included which is a little awkward. Apart from this very minor note, was fantastic. »

« Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect. »

« We have stayed in holiday rentals all over the world, and this was the best-run one ever. There was a delicious homemade cake waiting for us, and that set the tone. The thatched cottage (once lived in by Graham Greene) is utterly charming and immaculate, and beautifully modernized (though tall people will have to duck through a couple of doorways).
