From my initial interaction with the owner, who was extremely responsive, to the exceptionally kind and informed team we met the next morning - our experience was only diminished by our need to get back on the road. « My husband and I had such a relaxing (kid free) night! The glamping tent was perfect and had everything we needed. It was so nice waking up to the sounds of nature and taking a beautiful stroll on the property. Everyone should experience this! »

« Chris was very responsive to my messages and allowed to reschedule my booking to a different weekend. The caboose is gorgeous and so is the location. We did a photo shoot with the kids inside. It was so adorable! »

« Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us! « My wife and I had a long weekend at this property and can't say enough about the secluded location, coziness, and friendly hospitality and communication of the owner. They were attentive to our needs and were prompt in answering any questions we may have had. « The house was adorable and clean, and the host was responsive and kind. Kitchen had everything we needed. My only caution would be that this house is definitely more for families/groups who won’t be spending a lot of time indoors. While there were plenty of comfy sleeping spaces, there wasn’t adequate seating for 6 of us to comfortably watch a movie in the evening. Besides that…a really great stay! »

« The husband and I stayed here for the 2nd half of our 20yr wedding anniversary trip. It was our first time visiting Great Sacandaga Lake. Even though the water levels were really low (late September) we were still able to get out on the water…. did some fishing, explored Sand Island and even caught an amazing Pike. House was very clean and kitchen stocked well, check in was extremely easy! Brian the neighbor was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again! »

« The home is beautiful and spacious! The couch in the living room was very comfortable and the TV was a smart tv so we could access apps we subscribed to and logged in. All the bedrooms also have TVs in them as well which was nice as some guests prefer to fall asleep with a tv on. The beds/pillows were great and we all felt like we were getting a good nights sleep.
