It’s in a remote area so we brought food and laid low while we were there. Loved hearing the loons and watching the sunset. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you! “

Camp Hemlock was condusive for relaxing and enjoying the private and the quiet surroundings. Boyd pond is the perfect size for kayaking and fishing with the family. Overall this is the best location we have stayed in the ADK area. “

„I have stayed in VRBO homes from Washington to Maine and Costa Rica to Australia. I have never stayed at a home so thoroughly stocked with thoughtfulness to make my stay comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to an issue I had and resolved the issue. She has first aid kits, items travelers may forget like, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo... The furniture is comfortable, as is the bed. The kitchen had many appliances, dinnerware, utensils, even utensils for the grill, The huge grill was clean ...

„The treehouse was very cozy and cooled down very well at night. They have great trails and kayaks to use which the dog loved. The hosts were communicative and gracious. They gave us some fresh strawberries from their garden as well. We hope to get back in the not too distant future. “

„Wonderful camp on Star Lake. The camp/house has plenty of room and all the amenities that you will ever need. The decor is perfect. The grandkids had a blast playing on the sandbar and exploring the lake on the kayaks. The hosts were super and responded to my inquire immediately. An incredible, unforgettable family vacation with our kids, grandkids and sister from Florida!! Thank you! “

„The kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of pots and pans and even an electric griddle for making pancakes. The refrigerator in the boat house saves lots of trips when you want to spend the day fishing on the dock. The foosball table was a delight for the grandkids (even though Grandpa was still able to beat them)! “
