« We met Elaine when we arrived, after we had sent her an approximate ETA. She showed us around, gave recommendations for nearby restaurants for dinner and breakfast, and was very welcoming. Location was perfect for our needs which was a halfway point form one destination to another. Woodstock is a few minutes away and was a cool town. We hope to return next year again. »

« We had a great stay to visit our family over the week of 4th of July. The home is nicely updated with fantastic views of the Esopus creek and the lighthouse. Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The back porch is a highlight with lots of room, a great grill, lights, and fans. The back wall of doors allows full views to the creek from inside. The yard is nicely landscaped. We had a boat and the dock was perfect for lots of fishing as well. I would definitely stay again. »

« This home was great for our family group of 5 adults and our dog. We enjoyed the sun filled living room with views of the creek and spent hours kayaking, walking and exploring the neighborhood. The town is charming and has interesting stores and good restaurants. The home is well maintained, very cute and had everything we needed, including all the kitchen basics which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again! « Hightop House was very comfortable. It was nicely furnished, spotless & thoughtfully stocked with things like coffee, condiments & toiletries. The location is central and within a convenient walking distance to the Stockade area & shops. The house borders a nice neighborhood & a somewhat shabby one, though it felt safe enough. It’s also situated on a busy street, so a light sleeper might not want to choose the front bedroom. But all in all we enjoyed our stay! »
