« Overall I give our stay a 9.5 out of 10. I would have given it a 10 but the only very slight negative about our whole stay was it was very confusing finding the property. You cannot see the lighthouse from the main road. You can't see the water from the road either. There is a private dirt drive path through a wooded area near a campground with other people's homes you have to pass before you can see the water & lighthouse. I would recommend informing guests of this. I got turned around a couple...

« My 18 year old daughter suddenly became available for a last minute family trip so I scrambled to find someplace that would accommodate myself, 13-year old son, my daughter and her boyfriend as well. I was lucky enough to find Harper’s Hangout! It was only 2-1/2 hour drive for us, offered enough privacy for everyone, AND we could bring our dog!When we arrived, it was super clean, the A/C was at a perfect temp, and it was as welcoming as can be! It is decorated very tastefully. I came prepared...

« Such a great property! My kiddo was in heaven with all the friendly animals (we were too)! And the house - is Amazing! So many beautiful areas to sit and visit - inside and out! The beds were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing. Maurine was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful! The extra thought with the shampoo and conditioner, plenty of linens, condiments in the fridge (on top of a fully stocked kitchen!), the firewood. It felt like a family member had prepared ahead for us...
