« Fun campground, beautiful surrounding, crazy curvy roads - what more could you want from West Virginia? »

« I would not recommend this campground. I left after one night. The owner lists amenities that do not exist on the property. For example, it lists a communal pool (reality is two swim holes) and a pond. States there is a grill but does not state that it is located across the campground for communal use. The main reason why we left is due to the inability to connect to the Wi-Fi (as listed). I was depending on this amenity to perform job duties while visiting. The Wi-Fi was at best...

« I couldn’t even stay the night. It was dirty. When I got there it was so hot I had to sit outside till the ac finally made it tolerable. The tv did not work- no directions on how to get on. I stayed for an hour and decided there was no way I could stay there so I left and drove home. »

« Silver Creek 2211 recently was renovated. Unlike some rooms/ apartments my son and I have stayed in at Silver Creek/ Snowshoe, the furnishings/ decor was up to date. Silver Creek itself is a fun, enjoyable lodge for families with a pool, restaurant, and various games for kids. I would gladly stay there again. »

« This trip to snowshoe was a lot of fun. The room was nice and our kids loved it. They have google voice activated lights which were a hit with the kids as well as the bunk beds. I did have to contact Tim (the host) over VRBOs mistake by charging us and he was extremely helpful and understanding. Finally we were able to get the charges from VRBO resolved through our bank. We would 100% go directly through the host and avoid VRBO at all costs. »
