« I went there for the first time over Fourth of July weekend and the rooms were dated and not clean. Dishes from previous guests were in our doorway, and remained there overnight and well into our first full day. Add to that we found pubic hair in the bathroom on the floor and when we brought to housekeeping’s attention, they came and cleaned the room but still neglected to take care of the hair. It was foul. « The location is excellent, you can walk to everything! Plus the parking is free. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We were there to celebrate our 46th anniversary and they surprised us with a sweet note and bottle of wine. The breakfast is great as well and included with your stay. ( there is a train track right by the hotel, (I never even heard it - as it went super slow by the hotel) We would definitely stay there again »

One suggestion would be to install towel hanging hooks or rings on the framing wall outside the shower. The shelf above the toilet is a risky spot for towels. The hooks on the door is just enough to hang robes or clothings. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Par contre, le bain-douche manquait d'un peu d'amour ! En effet, l'émail du bain était abîmé, le robinet vraiment capricieux et le jet de la pomme de douche était moyen. Il serait avantageux de le remplacer par un douche téléphone de qualité.
