Our family had such a great time at this property. The utilitarian design and function of this house is incredibly well thought out. It has such a smart layout that you can't believe how large the house feels. The house has exactly what you need and nothing weighing it down. The kitchen is fully supplied with tons of room to work (I think we had 3 cooks at one time!). All appliances and bathroom fixtures are new and the entire home was fantastically clean. The beds were comfortable and each room had plenty of closet and drawer space if you don't like living out of your luggage. We are not skiers, but there was even an entire designated space for sporting equipment (so clever).
On top of the smart layout, the visual design is pleasantly specific to the locale and its beauty heightened our visitor experience.
We didn't get many chances to enjoy the outside spaces, but the front table space inside the curved wall looked so cozy and perfect for laid back conversations in the sun and the back yard was ample enough for lots of goofy play and games.
Our group this trip included 5 adults and 1 child. If this had been a more kid-containing trip, this house might not have felt as large as it did for us (just thinking about my fellow parents our there). But those outside spaces are super fantastic, so if the weather is good, this would be a great 2 families with kiddos rental, you would just want to chase some of that kiddo energy outside. (The front driveway even has embedded stone patterns that glow in the dark at night! A huge and fun surprise for my daughter). ...Also, we did the dog park puzzle and it is way harder than it looked. (Ha ha!)
The location within town is perfect for grocery runs, downtown hangs and easy access to the urban trail system and Buffalo Park (surprise finds once we got there). It's on the northern side of town too, so it's a good jumping off point for all the incredible outdoor adventures for northern Arizona.
If we get a chance to return to Flagstaff, this will be the first rental we look for. I feel that there is little room for doubt that the owners of this home are incredibly thoughtful and intentional.
