As you said, in fact, it is not an hotel nor a pension, it actually is a Guest House, in the moment our goal is to make our guests feel like their home being far from it (your personal one). I'm also glad to notify to you and every future guest that, from when you published this review to when I'm replying, we managed to add a sign just next to the door and a flag, in order to be easily spotted from outside. In Bahnhofsnähe. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Ein Privatpension 5 min zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt. Einrichtung nicht mehr taufrisch, Bad aber geräumig. Im Zimer gereichtes Frühstück eher frugal. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

We spent one night in a lovely room. Very nice decoration and very clean. A delicious breakfast was served in the bedroom. The service was excellent. We would love to stay at Casa Howard again.

Casa Howard truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Firstly, the convenient location made exploring the city a breeze. Easy walk to the Uffizi and Duomo! The hotel's beautiful decor created a charming ambiance, and the unique room designs added a touch of character. We ended up upgrading our room halfway thru our weeklong stay to try out another room with a tub. However, what truly stood out was the incredibly helpful staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my visit. I highly recommend Casa Howard to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Florence.

Very convenient to train station. Bed was hard and uncomfortable although decor was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and arrived very timely. Staff was not very welcoming and tried to charge us a late fee although arrived before 10pm.

We stayed 4 nights at Casa Howard. The property is conveniently located in the heart of the historic center with easy walking access to all the main attractions. We stayed in the camel room and it was fairly spacious. Our main concerns was that we had a leaking AC unit that was not fixed and so we had to lay a towel on the ground to soak up the water everyday. It also made a loud dripping sound that echoed in the room at night making it difficult for any light sleeper. It is also very loud in the morning due to breakfast service, so if you like to sleep in you’ll be woken up at 8-9am everyday. We didn’t try any of the food on their in-house menu but it looked good. Overall, the location was the best part of the stay and I would check out other neighbouring options before rebooking here. It is also worth noting that none of the rooms have a safe, so if you have valuables that you’d prefer to store in a safe while you’re gone that won’t be possible. If you have a car, parking is offsite but very close by (3 min walk).

Booked this last minute from a flight cancellation. The staff was great and very accomodating with recommendations and stowing our luggage long after check-out. The room itself was so-so: had a smell, air conditioner made the room humid, no hand towells, and missing outlets left open for some reason. Rated a 4 star online, but in Italy all 4's are really 3's. All-in-all, it served it's purpose and was close to the train station. ✌️

Beautiful and unique boutique guest house, run by a family. Absolutely wow bedroom - the "drawing room" - one of the suites. Only niggle is that this is a first floor room overlooking the main street, above the entrance to the property and beside the reception area - so it does get quite a bit of disturbance, esp if other guests are not quiet as they come and go. Cannot be helped. But still blown away by the room. Attention to detail and artistic flair throughout Case Howard. Lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful. Delicious supper club style dinner by arrangement with the owner - who is the chef! Loved it! Would recommend.

Christy, bent over backwards to reserve tickets for museums in Florence prior to our arrival. Looked into an opera, La Traviata which was showing in Florence whilst we there and sent us the link to enable us to book tickets. Nothing was too much trouble. The Fireplaces suite room was quirky but beautifully decorated, it was light and airy and spacious and tea & coffee facilities were available in the room. The bathroom was beautiful too. Casa Howard was conveniently located, close to Unica Tram Stop which is at the end of the line - 10 mins walk max and takes you within steps of the airport entrance for a mere Euros 1.50. As for Florence, it is simply like stepping into a museum - amazing.

Great 3 night stay
Great location, minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was taken to the room which was really nice. All the rooms have different configurations and they were able to accommodate us in a room with a stand-up shower and not all rooms have one. The staff are very helpful and nice.

Hospedagem excelente! Estafe muito simpático e prestativo que não poupou esforços para que tivéssemos uma excelente hospedagem. Ótimas acomodações. Destaque ao café da manhã servido no quarto. 距離中央車站很近，走路只要3-5分鐘。 每個房間都有自己的特色，這次我們住在black&white房型，很大，而且廁所居然有地暖，有每天自選早餐送到房門口，醒來就有好吃的早餐，推薦他們自製蜂蜜，很好吃，房間唯一小缺點是浴缸沒有乾濕分離很容易潑濕地板。 服務人員都很nice，很樂意幫忙， 老闆也很熱心，推薦了我們一些當地值得去的景點以及在地美食，其中包括超好吃牛肚包小販，而且還幫我們預訂了一家百年老店餐廳，超好吃！ 我們也嘗試在老闆新開在民宿的小巧餐廳用餐，一人30歐元，嘗試了義大利傳統料理，味道不錯，但實在不適應硬式的義大利麵 離開的時候，老闆還送了我們一張小卡跟小禮物橄欖油，要是送蜂蜜就更棒了

Muito bom
Quarto amplo e muito bonito. Roupas de cama maravilhosas. Funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Ótima localização. 4min a pé da estação de trem e mais 3min está na praça santa Maria novela. Café da manhã no quarto muito gostoso, apenas vem pouca coisa para quem gosta daquele café da manhã muito farto. Voltaria certamente.

Pensábamos que era un hotel más normal, con entrada directa A pie de Calle y no un edificio por pisos. Nos recepcionaron en plan bastante seco y sin simpatía alguna, teniendo que entendernos en Inglés. Ellos no eran autóctonos .... entonces al ver el conjunto de aspectos quisimos ver la habitación y no le sentó muy bien...Sólo quería que pagásemos..Nos sentó muy mal descubrir que no tenían cafetería ni comedor ni buffet pues el desayuno es en la habitación sin acondicionamiento para ello....La verdad es que pensábamos en un principio en poner una queja por la mala información en la página...NADA QUE VER!!!! Quizá lo mejor fue la tranquilidad y silencio por la noche...

What an amazing experience! Creatively decorated rooms - each lovelier than the other. Welcomed by fabulous staff as well as owner - lots of information and recommendations. Breakfast served in your room at your desired time. Owner has opened a tiny restaurant for a very interesting experience - if you have time and he has space -- do it.
