Fabulous location looking over the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. The living room is very spacious and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Each bedroom has an ensuite and there is a laundry with a washing machine and dryer as well as iron, ironing board and folding clothes horse so you donāt need to use the dryer for everything. Massimo was very prompt in responding to any queries and we were met at the time arranged for check in. There are heavy shutters on all the windows which minimise any outside noise. The street below the bedrooms can be a bit noisy at night but didnāt keep any of us awake. If you are a very light sleeper I would suggest ear plugs. I stayed here for a month with my very elderly parents (90 and 94) and it was perfect. They had no problems with access - the lift was small (as expected in Florence) but fitted 2 people and 3 suitcases with no problems. My parents were able to go out sight seeing in the mornings and rest/read in the lovely, light living room in the afternoons with a lovely water view. There was plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen had plenty of equipment for family meals and the dining table seats six people. Plenty of glasses but a few more mugs and wine glasses would have been good! We coped just fine though. This apartment was perfect for use and would also be fine for 2 couples. The bedrooms are slightly separated which gives a bit of privacy. My adult children stayed a couple of nights and there was plenty of room.
