Diese Villa liegt am Strand und ist dank der hervorragenden Lage (Folly Beach) zu Fuß gerade mal 5 Minuten entfernt von: Center Street, Strände von Folly Island und Folly Beach Fishing Pier. Ebenfalls nur bis zu 3 km entfernt: Folly Beach County Park und Sunset Cay Marina.

Not Pleased with Cleanliness

Location was great. The Condo is very old and not very clean. Water would not drain for a long time when taking shower. Shower curtin had mold on it, very dirty. Glasses in the kitchen cabinet were dirty and had to be washed before using. Floors were dirty and not clean.Only 1 working elevator and far walk for elderly parent.We were not very pleased with this property and will not stay again.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! The owners canceled on us 5 hours before check-in due to construction. They didn't know this until 5 hours before?!?!? Vacasa offered ZERO support for us other than sending us properties from other companies that we needed to book OURSELVES. They did not "have a credit card" to book us anything - not even a hotel room! But don't worry - they said - we will refund you with a physical check in 6-7 weeks. What a joke! Vacasa had no answers and the owners of this property are obviously sleaze bags given the fact that they cancelled 5 hours before check-in on Easter weekend after an 11 hour drive, hundreds of dollars in groceries, gas money, etc. We saved for 6 months for this vacation with our three kids and the rug was pulled out from under us 5 hours before check-in. Extremely disappointed with the owners and Vacasa. BEWARE and RUN!

My husband and I planned a trip for us and our five college aged /adult children. This four bedroom and three bath condo was exactly just the right amount of space we needed for all seven of us. Very convenient to dining and shopping. We walked everywhere through town. The balcony was lovely. We definitely would rent here again.

Great location awesome place loved the beach

The location of the condo could not have been better. Directly on the beach, close to town, and next to some good restaurants. The condo itself was clean. The kitchen and bath were supplied with beginner items. The linens and towels were clean. Condo a bit dated as far as appliances. Could use some touch up’s but not a deterrent. Elevator is 50/50. Sometimes 1 of the 2 is working sometimes not. Beach was perfect. Beautiful sands. Not too crowded. Water was super warm. Good waves. Great for collecting shells and sharks teeth. Great for families. I would come back for another visit.

Ladies trip

It was a wonderful ladies trip. Everything was as beautiful as noted. We had everything we needed for our stay there. The view was amazing the ocean the pier. Short walk to restaurants and Shop was awesome. Just a short drive to Charleston with wonderful things to do there beautiful city, love this place had all the room we need plenty of bedrooms bathrooms for six ladies could’ve had eight ladies. Highly recommend.

The total property was less than 2 stars. Elevator was not working; garage was difficult to navigate. Neighborhood was very noisy. The unit itself was good. Plenty of space, lovely balcony. Kitchen was ok.

Perfect Location

This was our first visit to Folly Beach over Labor Day & absolutely loved it! The condo was exactly as advertised & kitchen very well stocked. My boys 10 & 14 liked their rooms & beds were comfortable. Music from Loggerheads across the street was a little loud & could be heard in their rooms at night but they were so tired & it wasn’t an issue. We all enjoyed being a short walk to dinner & ice cream & Berts market. We definitely will be back!

Great location, could use a few things

Great points: Excellent location. Walk straight to the beach, close to shops and eateries, and a quiet neighborhood. The layout of the home and 3 bathrooms were convenient. Plenty of room for lounging and activities within the house. Points that could use updating: there was only 1 kitchen towel and after being there for 4 days we could have definitely used more. There also were no hot pads for removing dishes from the oven. There were no paper towels or tissues in the home. With the amount of sand we brought from the beach it would have been nice to sweep the floors, but there was only a large push broom available. There was a cockroach that was near where we had our babies playing. Overall I think the hospitality of the property could use a little more for the price that you pay. However, we had a great time and this property worked fine for 4 adults and 2 infants, and could certainly house more than the 6 of us if looking for a spacious property.

Great Location Ruined by VACASA, VRBO, Cockroaches, Kitchen, and Dilapidated Tables Gear

• Hundreds of cockroaches. They sent somebody for the cockroaches and that reduced it a lot from us killing 25 cockroaches per hour to 20-40 per day. Be extra careful about leaving food out unprotected, we spend a lot of extra time cleaning and drying, and also spraying with a can of roach kill presumably left by the previous tenant. • There is a pier shown as being by the property , in the listing, but it is closed and has been closed for a year, it won't be open for another year. • The kitchen is supposed to be outfitted but it is not. • Most of the pots and pans are damaged. • There is one dented and rusty cookie sheet • There are no potholders. • There is one kitchen towel and it has holes in it and it is frayed. • The local representative, VACASA, told us while driving—after spending hours weeks in advance to ensure parking—that we would NOT be able to get additional parking when we got here. They said that we would have to park in front of residences in the neighborhood. When we arrived at the property we were told that if we waited until 6 pm they would know if they had spaces available for sale—which is information that VACASA did not bother to learn so that they could share with guests. VACASA should have told the building management to put us on the list ahead of time instead of me needing to get on the list at 4pm and risk not having a space. Further customer service failure is that Kels--- of local VACASA was rude and dismissive. ...and rude of condo to use others' properties. • They sent somebody for the cockroaches twice and that reduced it a lot. Maybe our efforts will save others if they stay on it. • They kept saying that they would do something about the kitchen but they would not. They could have fixed it for less than $100. • The dining room table, card table, and coffee table are a mess. They need to be refinished or replaced. The tabletops are sticky because the finish is decomposing and the finish is worn through where people rest their arms. • The coffee table is rusty on the metal parts and the wood on the top is worn and stained. • We have been using VRBO since 2001 and have never had problems like these. VRBO took about two hours of my time passing me from agent to agent saying "This next person can help with the situation." No contact with owner.

Not impressed with this unit nor the property management company. Check in process was confusing - why have check in AFTER your office is closed? 3 bathrooms for a 5 night stay had 2 rolls of TP total for the week. Cluttered with 160+ pictures on the walls. Unit was dated. The beds were TERRIBLE!!!!! You're paying $$$$ for the view, period. Will stay elsewhere if I return to Folly Beach.

Musty, moldy, and outdated

I would not rent this property again. It has not been updated in years and not kept properly maintained. A simple walk of the unit will reveal mold in the master shower under the door and mold on the wall where drywall has fallen off by the slider in the master. Holes in the wall from previously hung drapes or curtains remain. Dryer sheets are stuffed in the vents, and I can only assume that is to mask some odor. My wife literally had a headache every morning when she awoke, and those immediately went away upon leaving this condo. It's bad; really bad.

Spacious, very nice beds,love location,Was disappointed when entering it smelled like a sewer bad.The dryer ruined several items of clothing.They only gave us one key and went back to get another on Monday they were not friendly at all. But over all we had a great time.

On Top of the World at Folly Beach

Terrific location on the top floor of this property adjacent to the Folly Beach Pier and all of the action on Center Street. Bedrooms are spacious, two of which are en suite. Decor, furnishings, and appliances are somewhat dated. If you have more than two cars (as we did) things can get a bit challenging with parking and keeping track of the two fobs that are issued and required to get through the entry gate as well as to gain access to the pool and beach. Layout of the kitchen is also not the best if you have more than two people in the kitchen at the same time. All in all, though, it is a great location with a superlative view and we would definitely consider renting it again.
