Paare Rückzug - zu Fuß zum Strand und Downtown Folly!

Ein ganz besonderes Haus ... ein Wahrzeichen von Folly Beach. Zwei Blocks vom Meer und einen Block vom Stadtzentrum von Folly Beach entfernt, können Sie Ihr Auto parken und zu Fuß alles erreichen, was Folly zu bieten hat. Komplett von oben bis unten restauriert, verfügt das Haus über hohe Decken (10 bis 14 Fuß), 650 Sq. Ft, Bead Board Wände, Fensterflügel beschwert Windows und Holzböden im gesamten .. ein klassisches Strandhaus, aber komplett renoviert.

Das Bad wurde mit modernen Armaturen und einer großen begehbaren Dusche aktualisiert. Die Retro-Küche hat Zement-Zähler, ein GE-Profil Gas Kochplatte und einen sehr coolen Kühlschrank (Wortspiel beabsichtigt). Wir haben vor kurzem ein neues zentrales Wärme- und Luftsystem hinzugefügt, das dieses klassische Cottage noch komfortabler macht. Im Sommer kühler und in den Wintermonaten warm und gemütlich. Ein echtes Ferienhaus für jede Jahreszeit. Neue Korbmöbel im vorderen Wintergarten sorgen für den perfekten Lesepunkt.

Hoch auf einem Hügel gelegen, ist das Haus eine Freude, in zu bleiben. Mit einem Queen-Size-Bett, ist das Haus wirklich nur für zwei Personen die Nacht zu verbringen, aber mit dem Wohnzimmer zum Wintergarten und kleinen Veranda öffnen gibt es viel Platz, um ein paar Freunde zu unterhalten. Überdachte Veranda (8'x10 ') ist direkt an der Küche und öffnet sich zum Garten. Zwei Duschen im Freien (heißes und kaltes Wasser) sind perfekt für eine schnelle Spülung nach Strandaktivitäten. WIFI-Internet und ein iPod-Player sind unsere technischen und Unterhaltungsoptionen. Bücher und Rätsel sind sehr erwünscht.

Simply Fabulous
One of the best vacation houses I have ever experienced! Clean, tidy, well maintained and equipped. The listing initially stated that there was no microwave nor additional toiletries (1 provided) but there was a clean microwave, 2 toasters, sizable fridge, coffee pot with filters, 2 outdoor showers, serene porches/decks, plenty of towels in just the cutest clean, modernized cottage and the most perfect location just a short walk to the beach. It was the ideal stay for me with fantastic restaurants either within walking distance or a short drive. While a came alone for a respite this truly makes a couples’ perfect getaway!

Absolutely Amazing!!!
It was top notch location, though felt very private. We are young honeymooners so being close to the beach and everything going on was perfect. No need to drive/find parking. Huge plus was the outdoor shower for coming back from the beach. The place itself was super quaint and just what we needed! The property management was personable and available, great to communicate with, but gave us space our entire stay.

Great overall location and home
House was as anticipated. Adequate room, clean and well set up. Two blocks to the ocean or the central road. The only surprise was a small very busy restaurant across the street from the home. Live Music on Tuesday night that went till well after 11 pm. Fortunately the house and location made up for a pretty loud neighbor.

The property was within walking distance to all shops/restaurants and the beach! The house is quaint and perfect for just a couple. It does sit directly behind a very popular bar that has live music most nights. It is loud until around 10:30 pm or so. If you don’t mind that, this is the place for you. We will go again because of the location.

First Visit to Charleston/Folly beach
This is a perfect location and home for a couples get a way! We loved the location, we loved not having a TV. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My only recommendation is to provide luggage racks or a stand for your luggage. This place is very tiny and you can’t unpack your suitcase bec there are no dressers. I don’t mind leaving my clothes in the suitcase, but there was no place to put them. Yes, there is a closet, but you can’t hang up everything. We ended up setting the ironing board up in the bathroom and placed them on that. Lastly, you need a better shower head and i would recommend a heat lamp in ceiling or closing up the shower a bit…the heat escapes and it’s quite difficult to get warm. Otherwise, we had a great time and look forward to coming back! Don’t forget to visit Chico Feo across the street…incredible! AAnd don’t forget to go catch the sunrise…stunning!

Great location, but a bit noisy!
We had a wonderful time. Very easy drive into Charleston. It was a great little place, but close to a bar/restaurant. It was difficult to sleep some nights. However it was very close to the beach, and nice size for 2 people. For other retired people like us, it might be better to be a tiny bit further away from the action! Clean and easy to get to. We wish there had been a microwave or oven, but we did ok with what was there. We would probably come again!

The house is in a good location in proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It is across the street from a market and restaurant so it is busy and often times loud. There is a ton of foot and auto traffic. The house was clean. It did not have a microwave. The listing said there was an oven but it is a small toaster oven. There is a gas stove which we did not use. We did not use any of the kitchen appliances which consisted of the before mentioned small toaster oven as well as a toaster and coffee pot. We bought a small inexpensive microwave to use because we didn’t want to cook or eat out every night. The house does not look like the listing photo. It is much more overgrown. The house is not level. The sitting room leans so much, it was difficult to sit in it comfortably. Basic furniture that was not comfortable. There is no TV but that is mentioned in the listing so we were prepared for that. The WiFi service is very good. There is no smoke detector or fire extinguisher on the property. Also with a gas stove, there should be a carbon monoxide detector. The bathroom is very nice and there is a washer and dryer combo. We enjoyed the area. The beach and restaurants are very enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will return to Folly Beach but will stay elsewhere. For the amenities and accommodations offered, the price seems high.

Beware live music
If you like live music this is the place for you. The restaurant across the street (Chico Feo) is actually more of an outdoor club with live music that happens to serve food. If you desire a quieter place, this is NOT the place for you. Upside is beach is close and don’t miss Bert’s market.

Great couples place to relax
This property was so charming! Quiet place for my husband and I to relax. It was VERY clean. There is no TV but we didn't need it! Close walk to the beach and everything in the Folly Beach area.

Quick beach getaway
This is perfect for a quick couples getaway. Just enough room with everything we needed and close to everything we'd want. The sunroom was perfect for the day when it was too blustery to go to the beach and we just wanted to kick back and read a book.
