Almost perfect

The spot is just across the intercoastal highway, about a 5-minute drive to the beach. The listing was accurate, and communication with the property managers was quick and responsive.My issue was that they didn't know the pool was under repair. A pool light and exposed wiring were left undone and apparently unaware to the property manager texting me. I didn't feel safe to let my kids swim the first day. They did come the next morning to complete the work. Never could get the jet controls or lights to work in the spa area though. The entire pool jets did come on automatically in the morning but when it was time to enjoy the pool in the evening it was all quiet and dark. Additionally, some of the pool loungers are rotting and unsafe to use. I let the team know and they did have someone come out and screw it back together, but it needs to be replaced. The kitchen is a bit dated, but it did have all the plates and pans you might need.Other than that, it really is a great vacation house. Sleeps a family of 4 or 5 perfectly. The open floor plan is very inviting and showcases the backyard views and bar area. Comfortable beds, great shower, plenty of seating to eat. Close to shops and restaurants all around.

Wonderful Home in Pompano Beach

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home! The pool and spa were the biggest draw and we spent a lot of time in the backyard. Everything worked very well and the house was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were terrific. Nice quiet neighborhood to come home to after sightseeing, golfing, attending Spring Training baseball games and hitting the beach!

Beautiful house, poor communication

The house was spectacular - exactly as pictured and very thoughtfully supplied with towels and dishes etc. Impressive! But the communication with the agency - like request to check in early and hear the pool required a phone call. They do not respond to messages. Further, the phone call didn’t help with early check in - we were told check in happens when we get the text which may or may not be after 4pm. We arrived at 6pm so it was fine and everything was ready but having that assurance would have easily made this a 5 star review. We did not feel like we could contact anyone if we needed something or had questions but as far as the property goes, it was awesome! These are folks who take care of the place diligently and the lawn pool etc are manicured perfectly. Great neighborhood too. I will say the hot tub was not very hot but honestly everything else was perfect. Could use better description on how to work the heater for the pool and make the hot tub and pool a little warmer. (It was $137 and chilly) overall would totally do it again though.

If you value your privacy, this is not the house for you

On the plus side, the house is very clean and the bathrooms were remodeled and nice. There were a lot of small things about this rental that added up to a lot of annoyance and lead me to not recommend this rental. #1 There are cameras all over the exterior of this house, none of which are disclosed in the listing (required by VRBO). This includes not only front garage camera, doorbell camera, but also a camera that points at the pool and spa as well as towards the inside of the back of the house, which is explicitly prohibited by VRBO's policies. We were able to see recordings of us in our bathing suits in the back yard on the monitor in the house, which means that the next people checking in will also be able to see those same recordings. The house also has interior and exterior noise monitoring devices (which is allowed, however on top of all of the other monitoring this just added to our discomfort with this situation.) #2 The lack of window coverings in the primary bath- there is a pebbled film but nothing else. I went into the bathroom only to find the landscape crew working right outside the window and I could clearly make out all of their clothes and features. This window needs more substantial coverings. #3 The previous reviews on the pool/ spa situation are all true; They can not be heated at the same time, and although we paid the fee ahead of time, we could not use the pool or spa the first day due to it being too cold. They sent people out multiple times and the pool was warm enough by the 3rd day, but the spa was never hot. #4 The bedding was not adequate, the primary bedroom just had a flimsy velour blanket as it's covering, we ended up having to get our own to get a good night sleep. Along the same lines, the bath towels provided do not wrap around an adult body. #5 There are 2 TVs in the house, but they are essentially next to each other so only one can be used at a time. We would have loved for our kids to be able to go in another room to watch their shows. #6 There was a closet door just hanging off in the second bedroom, I notified the management company the first day about it and they said they'd see what they can do (nothing happened). Related, the doorstop in the bathroom just totally hanging off with a large screw exposed and a danger to my kids who were using it.

Disappointed

The house was vey clean. The kitchen needed a new coffee pot. The most disappointing part was the pool and hot tub that we paid extra to be heated, after 8 calls to Vacasa, the heat never worked for our entire 5 day stay. The morning we were going home, someone showed up to fix the pool heater. Their were also two lizards in the house that the man that came out could not find.

Quick Weekend Stay

Flew in from NY for a long weekend with another couple. The front door code did not work but was reset within minutes of our arrival by a quick call to the property management. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to shopping, the beach, and dining out! Would absolutely go back!!!!

Great stay

It was a beautiful stay loved the shower and the beds were so soft. I just wish the ac would of stayed at 72 it kept automatically going back to 78. And their were no sheets for the pull out bed. Other then that the pool was amazing everything was top notch

Pool issues

Cutes little place inside a quiet neighborhood. We did have issues with the pool/jacuzzi heating. We paid the daily fee for heating for the entire trip. Heater for the pool was not turned on until the morning after we arrived. We were not told you could not hear the pool and jacuzzi at the same time so the jacuzzi was unusable. The pool was tolerable but still pretty cold. On our very last day they sent someone else out to check on it. Not much good it did us. Hopefully the next visitors had the pool issues fixed for them.

Nice house

Great house and location. Master shower was clogged and overflowed, but the property manager took care of it within 24 hrs. House seemed very clean- though there was an orange peel behind a couch cushion and a wrapper in the sleeper sofa. The pool area is really nice.

The Perfect Beach-Family Rental

The house was really excellent for what we needed. It was clean and well stocked with the expected amenities for the listing. The only downside was the hot tub because it never warmed up and the ice maker in the fridge (it barely produced any ice). Other than those two quirks, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks for allowing us into your home.
