Owner requested security deposit via Venmo but could not provide a valid Venmo account.
Then asked to be sent via Zelle. Provided via his name and email address. Received confirmation. Owner rejected it asking it be sent to another email address.
Copy of DL and CC was provided via email. The owner stated he could not view it on his cell phone. Had to send via text messages.
Property advertised as 4 bedrooms. Only 2 bedrooms were functional. One room next to pool equipment that ran 24 hours a day. Other was next to neighbor's porch that had security strobe lights. That room had no curtains only IKEA paper shades. 2 of my guests had to sleep on the couches the entire stay. Owner would not address these issues.
Security deposit was not initially refunding. Was told it was my responsibility to REQUEST it.
