The kitchen set up was sub-par. I was really hoping to cook a meal for my college kids in this lovely described and photoed kitchen. No oven mitts. No baking pans. No whisk. Utensils not clean. If we had known it was first floor would not have chosen - did not sleep much at all due to footsteps above all night. Wanted to utilize game room for pool table and foose ball - it was 84 degrees. Asked to have the AC turned on. Not done. Asked again. Said they'd "send maintenance". Didn't happen. Asked again, as it was cooler outside than in, and was finally told that it was broken. We gave up. One dish towel only with a burn mark down it. Stained hand towels in bathroom. Rust stains in tub and who knows what on a single non-lined shower curtain. No blanket or comforter for pull out couch. Only tiny throw blanket was there to cover an obvious big "mystery" stain (gross). Also, loud and popular bar across the street if you are to consider headlights beaming into your room at all hours and music. This is not at all a "Serene Escape". I have no idea if the property management company has ever been there. Will not stay again.
