This cottage is situated in the historical village of Polruan with its many meandering streets. In the village there is Crumpets the tea room, a village shop, two pubs and a working boat yard, which are all a few minutes walk away from the cottage. The village dates back to the 1300s and is the perfect place to unwind and watch the boats come and go in the harbour. Take the passenger ferry over to Fowey and discover some of its hidden gems including Readymoney Beach and St Catherine’s Castle along with its many pubs and restaurants, and a selection of independent shops. Alternatively, there are plenty of boat trips to view South Cornwall from a different perspective. For children, there are a range of activities nearby to indulge in such as Woody’s Mountain Bike park, the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens.

The property is approached through a porch with storage space for walking boots and coats. The large windows and French doors have been designed to maximise the natural light and the estuary views from the open plan lounge and dining area. The excellently equipped kitchen boasts an array of cooking equipment for you to whip up a wonderful meal to enjoy in the spacious dining area. The space benefits from a Woodwarm multi-fuel burner, quality fixtures and fittings including dining table with seating for six, hi-fi system, Bose docking station for an ipod, Smart TV, DVD with BT Sport, video and BT Infinity Wifi. There is also a shower room with WC and a useful utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs on the first floor you will find three spacious bedrooms, one 6ft super-king with TV, one twin with TV; both front bedrooms have views over the ever-changing harbour from the large bay windows. The 3rd bedroom is a double with en-suite shower room. There is also a large family bathroom with bath and WC.

Outside is a large private enclosed patio with an outdoor table and chairs to make the most of the estuary views. A luggage drop-off point is available outside the property. Parking can be found in a nearby car park for £25 for a weekly ticket, about a five-minute walk up the hill for the cottage. Out of season under occupy discounts are available for parties of 4 or less.
