Die Unterkunft ist leider deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Mobiliar ist zusammen gewürfelt- selbst die Vorhänge waren Flickwerk- das Bett hatte nicht feststellbare Rollen, sodass es sich immer verschob wenn man sich hinein legte. Pluspunkte: Kleine Küche mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und etwas Geschirr. Außerdem war an der Sauberkeit nichts zu beanstanden. Fazit: Für eine Nacht und als Zwischenstopp für längere Fahrten okay, Preis-Leistung aber eher nicht gegeben.

Grand Cabin Cabin is a simple lovely motel where you can stop by on your way to parks and canyons. It is quiet and right at a crossing along Main street. Also, the owner and his son have been super super kind helping me with a flat tire making it possible for me not to waste two days of my trip :)

This is a great place to stay. It's dated, but super clean. It's an old Motel and travel cabin type place. The walls are super thin so you hear noise, but the area is charming.

The property was old and somewhat outdated. What we liked was the spaciousness and the fact that it had a wide kitchen sink for us to prep salad lunches. They do not provide any utensils or kitchen stuff other than the fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. Chuck the manager was the sweetest.

Thanks God I didn’t stay at this place and I won’t recommend it to anyone….. from the cat’s urine smell at the lobby to the dirty room and used bedsheets this place know nothing about HYGIENE… I don’t understand how Expedia can keep sending people to this place. The only reason why I booked here it’s because it was the closest place to north rim Grand Canyon…… please drive 20 minutes more to kanab Utah there ther are many clean options for you….. thanks

Friendly staff, beautiful area thin walls
Staff was so nice and it was a beautiful place. The wall were very very very thin! We stayed two nights first night was good we had neighbors and everyone was considerate and didn't make lots of noise. The second night .. we had a group of singers and it felt like they were in our room. I wish I could add audio of what was heard.

This property was terrible. When we got inside the room you could see mold on the walls, and the worth of all, smell it! It was terrible. We ask the place for a refund but they refused. Terrible experience. I ended up sleeping in my car this is ridicoulous.. Really not recommending this place. It smells, the location looks scary, and it's very dirty.

The back door lock was loose and ready to fall off. TV worked but had no stations. WATER IN SHOWER STARTED OUT HOT BUT GOT COLD HALF WAY THROUGH MY SHOWER. No phone in room to contact the front desk or call in case of an emergency.

It was an hour and a half from the Grand Canyon was the closest available at the time. The staff was amazingly helpful. We were very pleased with the staff. The condition of the property was acceptable for our family, especially considering the price that we paid there was a family dollar across the street for us to shop at there were restaurants within a few minutes we were quite happy.

When I book a cabin, I assumed that meant it would have some kitchen facilities. It has a microwave and a refrigerator. The refrigerator had no freezer space but it still froze some items in it. The room had many different bugs. On entering the room we killed 2 crickets. There must have been other bugs as I have 2 bites that have now 3 days later are still sore and swollen. There were little flying bugs in the bathroom. The air conditioner never cooled the room. We left it run all day while we were at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the room was not cooled. It smelled musty. I will not stay here again. The man who checked us in was not very friendly. The only good item about this places were the beautiful flowers planted around the place. Had to drive to the next town for meals. No ice available to those staying here.

Cute little place. Clean, comfortable little cabins set around a grassy courtyard. Town of Fredonia is close to Pipe Stream National Monument and is a jumping off spot for the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There are a couple of convenience stores and gas stations in town but restaurants are mostly four miles away in Kanabrocki Utah.

The shower was nicer in cabin 9 than 12... but the sink was clogged and the TV didn't get any channels. If I were crazy enough to drive back up, we would stay here again but we would check the cabin first ;)

The cabin was old and outdated. There was very few amenities. The door looked as though it could easily be pushed in. There was no deadbolt. The surrounding area looked was runned down. The community looked as though it was a ghost town. We traveled to the next city to dine. We didn't realize that the two towns were so close together. Had we known, we would have definitely chosen Kanab, UT vs. Fredonia.

I didn’t like anything. The room hadn’t been clean other than the linens so there was facial hair around the sink and crumbs and dirt on the wood floor. It was gross.

it was a lovely setting, quiet and clean; bed was comfortable; Chuck was an amiable and accommodating host. However, minimal amenities: world's oldest microwave and AC; no place to hang towels; poor lighting; scalding water from separate handles in shower, slippery tub, probably against code, and dangerous; pretty minimal door locks. Nevertheless, would likely stay there again, hoping that there had been an upgrade of the infrastructure.

Not a good place.
The "cabin " was not clean, the shower had dead bugs in it, the sink in the kitchen had dried food in it and had a bad oder. The bed was so worn my wife and I slept in the V for the night. The pictures posted on hotels.com we're not the real place as far as we know especially the bathroom.

Very fair for the price. I had cooking facilities in my room which i wasn't expecting/had forgotten about. Parked right next to my room. A little old-fashioned inside the room but this was no issue.
