The cabin was amazing! Comfy, well-stocked and clean. Full size fridge and plenty of kitchen amenities (cookware, dishes, pots and pans, mixing bowls, mixer, sheet pan, a casserole dish, muffin pan, bread pan, etc...). Plenty of parking for a fish boat and SUV or moderate sized truck. Meaning, you could easily and comfortably do extended stays. Plus, with the boat ramp super close by(2min. Drive) you can get up and be on the water. They have a game and fish cleaning area located between the managers office and another cabin.
We were there for kayaking and easily stored both on the side porch (10ft and 12.5ft). Still had room on the side porch to grill and chill. So could easily put longer touring kayaks on the porch. If you are there for kayaking or have a smaller boating vessel, take some time to the rock quarry. It's super peaceful and beautiful scenery. Roughly a 7.5mi - 8mi total trip from Osborne Ramp to the quarry and back.
If you are planning on doing a remote work situation bring your own hotspot internet. It did lose connection several times, since other cabins do use it because it is an open source connection. This wasn't a deal breaker for me and I loved the disconnect.
Don't forget to check out the little walking/hiking path around the cabin grounds. There is even a hammock forest. Do take a little time and go into the Patoka Lake SRA, which is only about 20min from cabin. The beach was great and park was extremely clean. Hiking is more plentiful in this area.
