House was well equipped and the reverse floorplan worked well for our family. We loved the sunset views from the porches! Centrally located to all the island amenities. We would definitely come again.

Our extended family stayed here recently and it was perfect for our group with plenty of areas for everyone to hang out, kid friendly and beautiful views. The big screened-in porch overlooking the waterway was our favorite spot to relax and share meals. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our trip and the property managers were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for several couples

We were a group of 4 couples. The home had plenty of space for everyone as well as bathrooms. The outdoor areas with seating were perfect for hanging out. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for multiple families

Perfect house for multiple families staying together while also giving some privacy. Beautiful marsh view and cleanliness. Property manager was also quick to respond. One of our favorite houses we have vacationed at.

The Ideal Beach Retreat

"The Hidden Palm" was beyond our expectations! From the moment of arrival, its marsh views are captivating, and you can sit on the porch for hours. The house is clean, well-decorated, comfortable, and relaxing. The kitchen is well-stocked and has everything needed for family meals, and the game room on the third level is an added bonus! Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and its location is unbeatable. The thoughtful touches throughout the house made it feel like a home away from home. The property manager, Barry Fitzgerald, was responsive and helpful. He went above and beyond to make the stay perfect, including installing a new disposal when ours broke on the second day. "The Hidden Palm" was the ideal beach retreat for family, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing vacation with marsh views. We will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful Vacation at The Hidden Palm on Fripp Island

What a wonderful vacation we had at The Hidden Palm on Fripp Island! The layout of the house was great, and the interior design was first class. We enjoyed spending time with cocktails on the upper deck, dinner on the screened-in porch overlooking the peaceful marsh, ping pong in the rec room upstairs, and plenty of golf cart rides to the beach and around the island. The Ocean Point golf course was in pristine condition, and was enjoyed by our guys. We had a great weekend and will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this beautiful home as a topnotch vacation getaway!

Marsh views and porches!

The Hidden Palm was a wonderful place to stay with great views of the marsh. It offered a reverse floorplan with most bedrooms on bottom floor along with a large covered porch and laundry area.The kitchen, dining, great room, an additional bedroom and awesome screen porch were on the second floor. Our teens enjoyed the game room and open deck on the third floor. The home was beautifully decorated as well. We liked the enclosed brick courtyard area for storing beach supplies. The property manager was available by phone or text, and very responsive to questions or requests.

Memorial Day Weekend

Booking was quick and easy! The house was incredible, spacious, comfortable and clean. The views were outstanding!! We enjoyed sitting on the spacious screen porch each evening. The house has all of the essentials and more. Kathy was a pleasure to work with. She arranged our golf carts in advance of the stay. She checked on us to make certain we had everything that we needed. We had one minor issue with a slow tub draining and she had it fixed promptly. Outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this home.

A Perfect Coastal Getaway – The Hidden Palm is a Gem!Our stay at The Hidden Palm on Fripp Island was nothing short of spectacular. It easily accommodated our group with plenty of room to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company.What truly sets this property apart, though, is the incredible view of the marsh. Every window seemed to frame a peaceful Lowcountry scene, and the natural beauty surrounding the home made it feel like a true retreat.The three porches facing the marsh were absolutely exceptional—each one offering a unique perspective and atmosphere. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee or winding down with a glass of wine at sunset, these outdoor spaces became our favorite spots to gather. The serene sounds of the marsh, the abundant wildlife, and the soft coastal breeze created a calming, almost magical ambiance.The home is well-appointed, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was, and the location on Fripp Island made it easy to enjoy all the natural beauty and amenities the island has to offer.The Hidden Palm a special place that offers the perfect balance of comfort, space, and stunning views. Fripp Island is a paradise!

We always enjoy our time on Fripp Island. But, this house was not up to par in comparison with other homes we've rented. The home was not the cleanest, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy; I'm not sure what was going on with the kitchen floor, but there were a few self stick tiles put down, and they had come loose and were moving; the sofa was shredded (and cushions were turned to the wrong side), in hopes we wouldn't notice; the top sheets did not fit the beds; a couple of the mattress pads had blood stains on them. It was very inconvenient not having a common bathroom available on the main floor. Being on the marsh I assumed there would be more bugs, but I didn't expect them to be in the house as well as outside. There are two of us that are very susceptible to bug bites and we were doctoring ourselves with bug spray and itch cream all week. The air filters in the hvac system hadn't been changed in months, maybe even longer and we struggled all week to keep the house cool. That could have been some of the bug problem. The outside shower is very basic with just a dribble of water coming out of the faucet. It would be nice to have outside water and hose to rinse the steps, etc to keep the sand out of the house a little easier. This could be a nice house if were properly taken care of. The best thing about the house, and why I gave the 3 star overall review, was the large screened in back porch, but there were bugs there too. Luckily, we spent most of our time at the beach or out on the golf carts that we rented. Fripp Island has the most beautiful beach I've ever seen and our time spent on the beach was wonderful.

Family vacation spot

House is nice and resort location is great. Definitely recommend getting the amenity cards to use the pool and on-site restaurants. These were great additions for our family. The Rec room with ping pong table on 3rd floor was a huge hit and there were tons of games to entertain. Separate apartment is nice for privacy and was perfect for the grandparents, but is still a work in process and could use more furnishings. The golf cart at the house is a plus and needed for beach access - but might need a new battery. The battery died on our trip back from the pool and we had to push it home. The code to the lockbox didn’t work for us and the key pad to enter the house is not readable and does not work properly. Made it difficult to check-in at night. Recommend checking in while it’s still light and before 5:00. Our kids enjoyed touring the resort property and seeing the deer, gators, bald eagle and other wildlife. Bring mosquito repellent, bath tissue. Overall the house was nice, homey, cute decor, well stocked kitchen, beach towels, washer / dryer, dishwasher and plenty of towels. Lots of deck space and as advertised, the resort was great and location had fun things to do.

Nice but Too many steps

The house is very nice and in a great part of the island. We had elderly parents with is and the write up did not clearly state the living areas were located on the 2nd floor. It was alot of steps for them. The key pad at the front door didn't work so there was one house key for 10 people. View fron the back porch was beautiful!

Perfect for beautiful sunsets

The best thing about this property was the 3 porches (one screened) with a long marsh view. We spend much time on the porch listening to the nature around us. The house was perfectly clean but would benefit from some updating starting with the charcoal grill that was in its last days when we were there. We would definitely stay there again.
