Pure relaxation and relaxation
The house is lovingly furnished and is the ideal size for a family with 2 children. The pool and the covered terrace invite you to relax and unwind. The kitchen has everything you need. If you want, you can also grill. The location of the house is central on the island, so you can always get anywhere. The location is very quiet, so you can also relax by the pool. We'd love to come back.

Sonnige, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft mit Ausblick
ähnlich einer Doppelhaushälfte mit 2 Etagen, oben 2 Schlafzimmer, Bad mit Wanne. Unten weiteres Bad mit Dusche, Wohnzimmer, Küche. Nachbarn gibt es nur an einer Seite, daher durchaus ruhig. Die Sonne wandert ab morgens über den Außenbereich, so dass man immer ein schönes Plätzchen findet und der Pool ganztägig Sonne hat. Im Hochsommer bräuchte es aber vielleicht einen Sonnenschirm. Pool hat eine schöne Größe und ist sauber. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Unterkunft liegt oberhalb der Stadt und des Strandes. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, braucht dann ein Taxi um den Berg hinaufzukommen. Taxis sind aber einfach in Strandnähe oder gleich am Einkaufszentrum zu bekommen. Zu Fuß zum Strand läuft man ca 15 bis 20 Minuten. Dafür hat man eine tolle weite Aussicht über die Stadt und das Meer auf der einen und auf die Berge auf der anderen Seite. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gerne weiter und würden sie auch für uns erneut buchen.

Perfekt gelegenes Haus
Diese Haus ist ein Traum wenn man Ruhe sucht. Liegt direkt neben der Wüste und ist extrem ruhig (ausser ein paar mal haben die älteren Nachbarn die da wohnen die Musik laut gehabt!) Die Leute die sich um das Haus vor Ort kümmern haben schnell auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten reagiert die gefehlt haben. Als einziges könnte man eine Sonnenschirm noch gebrauchen da die Abendsonne auf der Terrasse sehr drückt im Juli. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ein Top Haus.

Erholung pur!
Wir waren insgesamt eine Woche in der Villa und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Die Villa ist sauber, modern eingerichtet und es gibt dort wirklich alles, was man im Alltag so braucht. Die Betten sind super bequem und es ist sehr ruhig. Das einzige, kleine Manko ist, dass die Flugzeuge direkt über einen drüber fliegen, wenn sie starten oder landen. Die Nachtruhe wird aber dadurch nicht gestört, weil nur bis 22:00 Uhr geflogen wird. Das Highlight schlechthin ist natürlich der Außenbereich mit dem beheiztem Pool (28 Grad). Selbst wenn es auf der Insel mal stürmisch hergeht, kann man sich in den unteren Teil an den Pool setzen und ist dort gut vor dem Wind geschützt. Die Villa ist sehr zentral gelegen, so dass man mit einem Mietwagen (wenn man auch an abgelegene Stellen gelangen will, macht ein Geländewagen Sinn) den Rest der Insel in alle Richtungen gut erkunden kann. ein ganz toller Urlaub
wir hatten einen ganz tollen Urlaub. Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Es fehlte uns an nichts und der Pool war einfach der Knaller. Unser Sohn hat endlich Schwimmen gelernt und die Kinder waren gar nicht mehr aus dem Pool zu bekommen. Jede Mahlzeit haben wir auf der Terrasse eingenommen bei tollem Wetter. Einmal pro Woche wurde der Pool gereinigt und wir bekamen neue Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Zur Begrüßung haben wir sogar eine Flasche Wein und ein paar Lebensmittel gestellt bekommen. Pam hat sich bei allen Fragen sofort um uns gekümmert. Da das Haus nach uns nicht belegt war konnten wir später aus checken. Vielen Dank nochmal. Da wir Nachwuchs erwarten werden wir die nächsten 2 Jahre wohl nicht fliegen. Danach können wir uns aber sehr gut vorstellen, das Haus wieder zu buchen.

A fantastic week in a home away from home
Just back from an absolutely brilliant week in villa sol. From first booking to checking out communication with Chris online and Pam the property manager on the island it was a breeze. Quick attentive responses from Chris who was happy to help and answer any questions, and a great simple check in with pam at the property made the start of the holiday stress free. The villa is nothing short of superb. Spotlessly clean throughout, everything you could ever need in the kitchen, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms both had great showers with fantastic pressure. The views out over the golf course from the master bedroom balcony and the outside dining/patio area are beautiful. And then there is the pool! A great size, nice temperature the whole time and just really relaxing to be in. My two boys aged 4 & 5 absolutely loved it, we could never get them out! Location is great, roughly a 10-15 minute walk down to the shopping centre where you will find everything you need and a couple of good food options if dining out. 20-30mins slow walk down into caleta itself (bear in mind we had a pram with us so it would be more like 20 with no children). 3-4 euros in a taxi back from town and 3 euros in a taxi back from the shopping centre makes it not worth walking back up the hill! Overall a 10/10 for us, this was our second stay but first as a family with children and we will definitely be back. Thanks chris/ pam for a great stay!

Excellent Villa
Had a excellent holiday made all the better by staying here. The villa is in a nice quiet location not to far from the shopping centre and beach and only half hour walk into the resort centre. Very clean and comfortable, great area for sunbathing with the sun shining on you all day and the pool is amazing. The welcome pack we received was very much appreciated. Looking forward to returning next August and hopefully next November. Check in was made so easy thank you Pam. Having stayed in another villa for the last 10 years on Las salinas which is now up for sale we were apprehensive about looking for a new place to stay after so long, but after a weeks holiday staying here we have found our new go to place.

Lovely Home From Home
The property is in a great location with fantastic views of the sea and surrounding hills from the bedroom balcony. The pool is heated a great and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The bonus of an undercover seating area is also good as at times it was very hot during our stay. Everything you need to make the most of your stay, very comfortable living area, kitchen and more importantly the beds are great. Communication with the owner from booking to leaving was exceptional and the local caretaker is lovely both wanting to make sure you have a great holiday. A much appreciated welcome pack ensures you don’t have to rush out for food when you arrive - oh a the 🍷 went down well too. Parking was never an issue. Location is great for exploring both ends of the island. We would highly recommend this property and would have no reservations in visiting again if we return to Fuerteventura. Brilliant Holiday Villa
We had a great time at Villa Sol. We enjoyed all the amenities, including the comfortable bed. The heated pool was a joy. We would have given 5 stars for every category of this review - however we do not believe that the maintenance was up to scratch for what we believe to be the perfect holiday property. Some ceiling fans/lights did not work. Poor exterior lighting at night - only two of the step lights were working !!! Apart from that brilliant.

Hi Andy, really pleased you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the tips. The fan in the main bedroom is new and we have had a problem with the light so we will look into that further. Thanks The step lights were new beginning of the year so obviously not up to it and we will look to replace. Thankfully, these problems were not major as there are other lights in the bedroom and the lights around property give enough light off for people to see. Thanks for telling us. Perfect in every way.
We had a fantastic stay in this villa. It really was a home from home with everything you could want or need. It was extremely comfortable and just as decsribed. Beds were a delight to sleep in, pool (which was heated) was wonderful and full TV channels for them nights in. The welcome pack was also a wonderful touch with everything provided tasting lovely. Chris & Lindsay were fantatstic with their communication from the booking process to our stay and Pam was just as lovely and helpful on our arrival and throughout. We have stayed in many villas in the area and this one excells in all ways, I cannot find one fault. Do not hesitate to book if its available you will not de disapointed. Fantastic - "Home from home"
Throughout the whole process, from point of booking, to any questions we had, Chris was really helpful and super responsive! The property is by far, one of the best we have stayed in, in Caleta and suited our needs to a tee! Properties of this size, with a private heated pool are difficult to find and usually too big for a family of four! The property was fully equipped with everything you need, including beach chairs (we only discovered them at the end of our stay - I'd thought the bag was a travel cot, so hadn't looked inside), all linens and way more crockery than you could ever need! A couple of observations (note these did not impact our stay - we love this property): Better lighting outside - pool area (there are a couple of solar lights, but these don't give off much light. BBQ could do with a new grill - we bought one to lay on top and ended up not using it, so hopefully future guests will benefit :-) Boosted wifi for upstairs - our teenagers couldn't get wifi upstairs (but they used data, so all good). All in all, Villa Sol gave us a great base, with everything we needed for a fantastic holiday in the sun - we will hopefully return soon!

Lovely villa
This is a lovely villa, very clean and the views from it are also lovely. It has all the amenities that you could need including a washing machine and a lovely heated pool. A welcome pack of bread, butter, jam, eggs, meat, cheese and wine is provided and is a nice touch. However you will need to buy dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid if the previous visitors haven’t left any. One problem is there is no air conditioning and when we stayed it was very hot, this meant we had to leave the curtains closed in the bedroom all day as otherwise it was stifling and we couldn’t leave the sliding door open as the bug screen was damaged and so we risked lots of bugs. A couple of fans are provided but they are old and not particularly affective. The villa is right at the top of a long hill and is not close to any shops or bars. Other reviews have said it’s a 10 minute walk to the Atlantico shopping centre but it’s more like 20 and we walk fast. We had a car so getting shopping wasn’t an issue but it was too far out for us in the way of eating out and enjoying a few drinks. We greatly enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t return purely based on location and lack of air con.

Perfect retreat
From booking to check in this was a seamless journey with excellent communication from Chris and Lindsay. Pam also attentively showed us round Villa Sol and let us know all the important things before leaving us for a week of bliss in the sun. The owners had also arranged a welcome pack of food/drink which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated with 2 teenagers! The villa itself is fantastic, and the pool is a perfect bonus. We spent most of our days by the pool and nights were used for exploring the main parts of Caleta de Fuste for eating and drinking. Although Villa Sol is on the golf campus, you're only a short taxi ride home if you don't fancy the walk (€3 approx) and there's plenty taxis. Thank you for letting us share your home. We can't wait to return!

Amazing !
We had the most amazing time here, communication from the hosts Chris and Lindsay from booking was great all the way through to travelling, any messages were answered straight away. Once arriving was met by the lovley Pam and her husband who showed us around and the welcome pack was great! The villa is beautiful and spotless inside and out, had everything you could possibly need during your stay. The outside shaded seating area was beautiful, we ate our meals out side every day. The pool was just fabulous we used it every day. The villa is in a quiet area which is just what we wanted . The only problem we had is that we didn't want to pack and come home , wish we'd have booked 2 weeks and not 1 !

A fantastic holiday!
We are just back from a fantastic stay at this villa. Communication with Chris & Lindsay was so easy & we very much appreciated the welcome pack on arrival. Pam & Mick were really helpful at the Villa too. The Villa is in an excellent location, so peaceful with beautiful views, a lovely place to unwind. It is really well equipped & clean & the pool was in constant use by us all (we have to teenagers age 19 & 16). The pictures don’t do it justice, it exceeded our expectations. Would recommend hiring a car so you can see more of the island, the sand dunes are certainly worth a visit. We will definitely be back!

Amazing well presented and quiet villa
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Sol and would definitely stop here again. It was a very clean, tidy and well presented home on a quiet corner of Caleta yet close enough to everything you need. There was great communication from the hosts Chris and Lyndsey before we arrived with directions and general help with the app and in Fuerteventura, Pam and Mick met us at the villa and showed us how around and how things work, it is reassuring to know there was someone on island on standby if we needed them. Thank you for organising the small and thoughtful care package, it was very kind and helpful of you especially after our flight. Villa sol is such a lovely villa and the private pool is amazing and super handy! The villa had everything we needed and it was literally a home from home. Beautiful Villa.
We have been coming on holiday to Caleta for some years now and I have to say this is the best villa we have stayed at. So quite, spotlessly clean, beautiful pool, well managed and very understanding owners. You will not be disappointed. Just waiting for 2023 flights to be released and we will be booking again.

A relaxing place to stay.
We really enjoyed our week with you. We loved having the afternoon/ evening sun in the garden. Ideal for a nice glass of wine and a few crisps before an evening meal. The only thing that needs improvement is that the safe didn’t work. This needs replacing if it can’t be mended. We would and will book again when we return to the island on our own.

Holiday 2022
The villa was absolutely beautiful, i had abit of a nightmare holiday so only stayed in the villa for 3 nights, the rest in hospital. Pam and Mick were a godsend they helped us with everything. The villa has everything you need, beautiful location and fantastic pool. It wouldve been a wonderful holiday if my circumstances were different but i would recommend the villa 👍 thanx chris and lesley

Nice stay
Great for what we needed after 2 years of covid cancellations. Walkable to town(20mins) but car would be advisable if you tend to go any further. Taxi€5 . Would recommend.

Easter 2022, fantastic week in a lovely villa.
Should have had this holiday 2 years ago thanks to Covid. Owners amazing, organising a refund with no quibble at all. Communication with owners has been excellent. This is a lovely villa slightly further away from amenities than first thought and without hiring a car, shopping needed forward planning but taxis are excellent and not expensive. T.V. had 1000+ channels. Pool is amazing (although lighting around the pool for night time would be helpful to avoid falling in!). Overall, a fabulous holiday, we would very much recommend staying here.

Holiday at villa Sol
Excellent property, exactly as advertised. We were met by Mick who showed us round the villa. The welcome pack was one of the best we have ever had. Everything you need on arriving late evening. The villa was spotless with all amenities provided. Having the heated pool was really special particularly Feb/March. Communication with Chris and Lindsay was so easy. Great location overlooking the rugged hills of Fuerteventura, complete with sunset!
Fantastic villa with great pool, wonderful views of the sea & hills. Very comfortable rooms, toilet & shower upstairs and down. Great kitchen with all facilities. Outdoor verrander with table & chairs. Great loungers overlooking the poolside. Amazing pool!

Super location
La maison est très bien équipée. L'emplacement est idéal car central pour visiter l'île. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil et la disponibilité de Pam et Mike malgré notre heure tardive d'arrivée...merci pour tout.

Great Villa
Wonderful villa located in a quiet area, close to shops, supermarket and beautiful beach. Everything you need is in the villa. Very nice pool and barbeque area. Easy communication with Chris. We would love to come back.

WONDERFUL VILLA
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful villa with everything we needed. The best welcome pack ever! A genuine heated pool to a perfect temperature, it was used everyday. Very clean and comfortable with gorgeous views especially the sunset. Terrace has all day sunshine with shaded area if needed & also as it is south facing it was protected from the wind. Many thank to Chris, Lindsay & Pam we would definitely book again

Una casa para repetir
Estuve alojado en la casa en septiembre , y la verdad que muy bien. La casa tiene todo lo que necesitas, está cuidada y limpia. Los anfitriones me dejaron un pequeño menú de desayuno, fueron muy amables , la ubicación Es muy buena si quieres visitarla la isla ya que está en el centro de esta . Sin duda volvería !

El alojamiento está en una urbanización de golf , es muy tranquilo y no se escuche ningún ruido. La piscina es una maravilla así cm la barbacoa que es donde mas tiempo hemos pasado. En cuanto a los utensilios de la casa hay que decir que tiene de todo además Mike y Pam estuvieron pendientes de lo que necesitábamos y tal fue que el congelador no funcionaba y en 3/4 días nos cambiaron la nevera, la verdad q muy amables. Estamos encantados con nuestra elección y recomendamos el alojamiento

An excellent villa near a glf course
Impressed with precise instructions to locate the villa and a large welcome pack. Situated in a quiet complex, with friendly neighbours, the villa was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and wonderful views. Large shopping centre just minutes away by car. TV reception was often poor although wifi was good so that we could watch all TV programs via Virgin on our ipad. The large heated pool was well used! The weather, blue sky and gentle breeze, was the best we have had in Fuerteventura. Looking forward to booking again next year.
