This stay was exactly what I was hoping for for Christmas. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The beds were super comfortable. The shower was fabulous. And the host was super responsive and kind. We would definitely return.

Spring Break Vacay

We had a fantastic time! The hosts are great- super helpful and great communicators. We lucked out with fantastic weather, both sunny and warm. So we definitely made use of the pool and hot tub. The location was perfect and central to many of the activities we chose to do (walk the beach, visit The Strand, get ice cream, State Park, Moody Gardens, etc.). The hosts provide a guide of recommendations of all kinds. The house accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids with ease. Plenty of space to relax, including the screened porch. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, enjoying group dinners in the dining room, and sipping coffee on the porch. We really felt like we were at home and felt relaxed our entire vacation. We love the Island and will definitely be back!! Thanks again!

Excellent Stay

We booked this property for a girls’ weekend and it was an excellent choice. The property was beautiful and very well kept. Location was amazing as it was close enough to be able to walk to the strand. The host made sure we were comfortable and was very prompt to reply to any messages. There was an error regarding the number of people the property slept but as soon as the host realized this he called me and offered another accommodation if we needed it. However, we did not need the extra space and stayed in our original choice but I appreciated his promptness in fixing the error. The listing has been updated to reflect accurate sleeping arrangements. Our stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay at this property again!

pretty house, great hosts

My husband and I stayed the weekend for a couples getaway. We have stayed at many vacation properties and this one takes the cake for communication with the hosts. We received a group text the day of our check in and were given the opportunity to text if any problems arose. There was one small delay to our check in that was completely outside their control, and they extended our check out time by a few hours for a 10 minute issue. Absolutely amazing customer care that is rare to find. The house was beautiful, and clean. You cannot beat the character of a house like this. The old elevator by the stairwell, the old doorknobs- just so much character to admire. We enjoyed the pool and spa. The hot tub gets hot within two minutes. We have stayed at properties where the hot tub takes an hour to heat up before you can enjoy it. This was a major plus. There is private parking for one vehicle on the back of the property. The front of the property faces Broadway street, which is a four lane main drive in Galveston. My husband and I were able to rest without an issue, but light sleepers or couples with infants might want to consider a more secluded location. The property was a close drive to the seawall beach access on one side and the strand shopping and dining on the other side. All in all, this property delivered on what it promised. If I could change anything it would be the location, but it’s somewhat to be expected when you stay in historic areas.

Beautiful clean home

This house was clean with several extra amenities. Beds and furnishings were all comfortable. The pool and hot were clean and perfect temp. The owner was very quick with communication and advice on where to eat and what to do. This home made for a very relaxing stay for our mother daughter vacation pre cruise!

Short getaway

Over all the rental was amazing had everything you can think off the only iteam was missing was baby gates i have two 11 month old babies. Other then that we LOVED it . The location was a bit overwhelmed at first after second night got use to the noise. Beautiful beautiful, amazing property. Hoping to book it again again during summer.

Daughters Bridal Shower

Lance’s home was absolutely beautiful!!! We had great communication from Lance. He met us at the property to give us a tour and make sure we knew where everything was and how to use it. He also checked in on us daily via text. He went far above any other home owner we’ve rented from before. The house was clean with every thing needed for our stay. They even left us a snack basket. Pool toys, baby gear, coffee and anything that could be needed in the kitchen. I would recommend this home to friends and would definitely stay in it for future visits to Galveston. It was the perfect, beautiful home for my daughter and her friends to celebrate her up coming wedding.

Family weekend

My aunt, sister in law and I hosted my mom for a get a way weekend to celebrate her upcoming 80th birthday. Lance and Natalie greeted our late arrival with lights on and a celebratory bottle of champagne. The first cold front blew in and the pool was heated for our comfort. The house is minutes away from everywhere we planned to go. We had tickets to a play on the strand and ate dinner there as well. We picked up lunch at Mosquito cafe and enjoyed hot food in the dining room before another dip in the pool. The stairs were difficult for my mom at 80, but the rails and landing are so nice that she made her way up each night to a very comfortable bed. We all enjoyed great nights sleeping in the 2nd story with plenty of room for all of us and well equipped bathrooms for 4 women to get ready. I even made it to church Sunday morning and could have walked if I had not stayed cozy too long under the covers! We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the house for any Galveston visit. Thank you both for being attentive to our needs and making us feel so welcome. We also loved the decor and a good coffee maker. The little things do make a trip memorable. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories!

Girls Weekend

House was great for our group! Location was great, house was beautiful and clean, back yard was nice too! Yard guys showed up Saturday which surprised us as we were headed to get into the pool! No big deal, we just sat inside and got ready for dinner instead! Owners were amazing and super responsive with any and all questions we had! We would definitely book again!

Can we give more than a 5 star rating??

Lance and Natalie’s home was so accommodating for our big family. Ages ranging from 2 to 60 it had everything to make our stay enjoyable as well as things we forgot. They also never took more than 10 minutes to get back to us no matter the time. The location of the home is also very close to anything you could possibly need and the strand! The pool/outdoor area was a huge hit. Our family travels a lot and stayed in multiple places, we could all agree that Lance and Natalie were the absolute best! We cannot wait to stay again with them!

Delightful Beach Stay

This historic mansion is beautifully decorated and has been updated with mordern conveniences. We enjoyed the large dining area, living room and outdoor space that easily accommodated our large group. Bedrooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, and owner provided thoughtful extras throughout the home. The owner was very attentive and welcoming and responded within minutes when I reached out for anything. 100% recommend the home for anyone looking for more from their stay in Galveston than just a beach home.

Greatest hosts!!

The home is spectacular! The hosts are inviting and super nice people! They are very much accommodating and very knowledgeable of the island. They gave us information for other available bookings and wonderful realtor information for our upcoming home search! The pool and hot tub were definitely a wonderful addition. It’s quite the hidden oasis for such a busy part of town which is amazing for convenience. Even though the homes are close together we never felt as if they were. The backyard offered beautiful landscaping and privacy. Divine is an understatement! Thank you again, Lance and Natalie! I’m sure we will see you guys soon!

Amazing House

We had a wonderful stay at an amazing house! Located in the heart of Galveston, steeped in history, and with every amenity we could possibly need. Lance and Natalie were great hosts, very kind and attentive. It was very apparent they wanted our family to have a great vacation, even giving special attention to make sure our grandchildren had a special time. Plenty of comfortable seating throughout the house, enjoyed by everyone. The screened patio is a game changer and the pool brought hours of fun to our family. Overall an amazing time and we will certainly be back!

A sanctuary in Galveston

This is one of the cleanest, most stylish, well-appointed rentals. It’s bathed in light, full of comfortable furniture, and plenty of perks like Dohm noise machines for sleeping, coordinated speakers throughout the house, pool toys, and snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed this spot while our eldest granddaughter went to NASA space camp. Convenient to everything. Wonderful, wonderful spot. Thanks for making our trip to Galveston easy and fun.

Girls Weekend

We stayed at the house for a girls weekend in the spring 2023. The property was beautiful inside and out, very clean, we loved the decor and all the amenities, and location was great.
