This served the purpose we needed it to, which was a place to sleep the night before our cruise. There were enough beds and they were comfortable. No complaints there. This time of year, it was too cold for the pool but it was well maintained. There were plenty of cups but not much in the way of plates for a big group. The home wasn't in the best condition, but it was fine enough.We are accustomed to having soap and shampoo/conditioner in this type of rental. There was no soap for the shower and 1 hotel size shampoo/conditioner to be shared among 6 guests, sharing the same bathroom. So, if you are going to stay here, just be sure you bring your own stuff. Check out was easy.

The host on this property was absolutely excellent very responsive to any of our questions. The house is very pet friendly and my dog believe me searced the area for a way to get out and there is no way that my dog could get out. Pool was fantastic.The cleanliness of the house overall was very good. We did have an issue with the dishwasher that was resolved with the host of the property.

My hope is that the owner of this property takes action and corrects the deficiencies found. Not a good overall experience. - Found dead roaches in the kitchen, yuck.- Live roaches and critters crawling on us inside the main part of the house. - The couch had significant stains and looked dirty and uninviting — we had to stand for the most part. Pictures of the couch are deceiving. - The ladder to the pool is not safe. The plastic unhooks and is unstable. Replace or put a sign to proceed with caution. - No extra covers. The ones on the bed were extremely thin and not warm. - beds are HARD and squeak with any move. Very uncomfortable.- The shower head in the downstairs room was hanging by a thread and not easy to manage — damaged. Needless to say, we were unable to get proper rest due to the inconveniences.We contacted the company and all they said is “sorry”. Pros: - they will respond to messages very promptly. - seamless check-in process

More cons than pros, if any. Kitchen pot/pans are old & cheap. Majority of bedroom & bathroom doors have slats; almost no privacy. Room w/2 bunkbeds never get cold from AC. 2 rooms share 1 bathroom…2x. Shower water pressure is weak. Wooden deck has nailheads sticking out. Railing pickets were loose. Absolutely unacceptable with young kids/babies around. BBQ grill is old & disgusting. Pool floor has algae. Pool is about 4’ deep. Fire pit is completely secluded next to the creepy shed, opposite the house; only has one lounge chair. Drapes for sliding door doesn't completely cover the door; falls off wall bracket. Apartment style washer/dryer is loud. Way too small for so many people in a house. AC didn't work one afternoon. Evidently the thermostat batteries were weak. Game room/bedroom (downstairs) is separated from main dwelling. But the AC blows cold, far from neighbors & spacey for my family of 21.

Nice Get-away location

We were very happy with the location of the property. It is located a short distance from town, the beach, and other houses, in a marshy area filled with Herons, Red Winged blackbirds, Mockingbirds etc. The kids loved the pool and the parents were able to relax on the adjacent deck or get away to the front deck for some peace. We were also very happy with how responsive our host was to our request for a few additional things.

Nice place but problems

We enjoyed the stay but then we had issues with plumbing the last night there. The beach box people were not helpful and when our bottom bathroom had feces and other sewage seeping through the shower and toilet it became a hazard. I’m not sure if I’ll ever rent a beach box property again. This is the second time we had issues as a family with them.

Nice house but was dirty

We arrived around 5pm and the cleaning lady was still there. The game room which is not connected to the main house, is where the cleaning lady was and it smelled horrible as soon as I walked in. Like mold or mildew. Being mindful it had stormed the previous day, the smell was strong and all she did was use an aggressive amount of bleach that only made it worse. The beds were clean and towels were fresh but there were spider webs near the bunks so no one slept in there. The main house is very nice but also smelled like mildew or must. Aside from the beds and the bathrooms the house was dirty. Had visible spider webs, coffee pot had old coffee in it, the kitchen counter and tables hadn’t been wiped off. The floors and carpets were dirty. I swept myself, found a couple of dead water bugs and fingernail clippings. Streaks on the mirrors. The couch was comfortable but has stains all over it. Luckily I had my own cleaning wipes and spray I was able to clean up the kitchen and table, I went to buy some spray and candles to help with the smell. I messaged the host and my only response was they would check with the cleaning person. The pool was also a little dirty but that was most likely due to the rain, and someone did come to clean it. That’s was nice! Overall the house was the was the perfect size for my family. And we did have a great time!!! It was unfortunate about the cleanliness of the house.

It was the most horrible experience I’ve ever

So we get at the house we rented for the day and it was really bad and dirty. Plumbing was horrible. So they had to changes us to a different location. And said it would be ready for us when we get there. And no it wasn’t. We had to clean it our self’s and the pool was green smh the cleaning people didn’t get there till 6 so we had to wait outside till they got done and didn’t even clean the kitchen. I just gonna post a couple of pics because the others are horrible and embarrassing

Great House for large group but plan ahead!

This property was perfect for our stay with my son and his friends. One thing to be aware of is that the house does sleep 32. We had 22 in it. But there was very little in the way of pots and pans. I had to go purchase pots and pans. There were plenty of cups, plates etc. Other than that, it really is a great property. The game room downstairs was absolutely perfect. The kids really enjoyed it.

Relaxing getaway

This home was perfect for our little family reunion. It was nice to be off the main boardwalk area but just a few minutes drive from any activity or restaurant. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids enjoyed the downstairs game room with the triple bunk beds. We also were pleased the bedrooms had ceiling fans. Kitchen was well stocked. We would come back here when visiting the the area again

A wonderfully comfortable and peaceful getaway!!!!

This house is very family friendly. We love the layout and decor of the property. Its close enough that you can still feel the wind from the ocean. The decks are sturdy and safe. We have stayed in 6 different rentals and this has been the best one yet. We are hoping to return in the future.
