Schönes Hostel in Zentrumsnähe
Wir waren mit dem Rucksack für 2 Tage in diesem Hostel. Die Betten waren super, da man einen Vorhang zuziehen konnte. Weiterhin war das Hostel sehr leise und sauber. Wir waren extrem begeistert von dem Frühstück, welches von den Hostelmitarbeitern jeden Morgen zubereitet wird. Für diesen Preis wirklich unschlagbar.

Sehr sauberes Hostel und sehr freundliches Persona
Wir besuchten einen Freund in Galway und waren daher wenn immer möglich in den Pubs und der Stadt selbst unterwegs. Wenn immer wir ins Hostel kamen, erwartete uns ein aufgestellter Mitarbeiter bei der Reception der immer einen Scherz auf Lager hatte. Das Hostel selbst war sehr sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (z.B. half uns beim Trocknen der Kleidung nach dem Sturm). Kurz um, ein geniales Hostel mit sehr guter Lage (sämtliche Pubs in 10min zu Fuss locker zu erreichen), dass sein Geld auf jeden Fall wert ist. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen!

Great hostel for staying in the city on a budget. I had interactions with multiple staff members and they could not have been more helpful or friendly. Made my stay so comfortable. Pub walk with other local hostels every night.

The hostel is right in the middle of Galway and walking distance to all of the pubs and shops. I took part in a pub crawl which was really fun and I highly recommend. What a great time and great hostel.

Hot and noisy.
I caught covid in the shared dorm. The dorm was very warm even in autumn temperatures. The dorm is right over a pub that has live music even in a Monday so it is quite noisy. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

This was a perfect location in the center of town, right above a fun pub. Staff was incredibly present, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and coffee included, discount on a nearby parking garage was really nice. Lockers and a padlock are provided to keep items safe. Also towels are provided. Privacy curtains on the bunks in shared rooms were very appreciated. Next time, I'd bring my own little travel fan for some airflow and white noise.

Haven’t been to heaps of hostels to compare but this one is nicer for sure. Friendly staff, bathrooms checked every hour, curtains around the bed, close to everything in town.

Was a good stay bit of a mix up as regards the booking I wanted to be in at least 6 bed dorm but was showing 12 bed the 6 was available for night not the second seemingly there is a 4 bed dorm which would suit better but lovely stay and would stop again staff were excellent and very accommodating which made the experience more enjoyable so YES WELL DONE WILL STAY AGAIN

I had such an incredible experience staying at Galway City Hostel—this was the last leg of a two week trip to Europe for me, and it was my first time traveling out of the states. I had friends from home with me for other portions of the trip, but was traveling solo when I hit Galway. I could not imagine how I could’ve felt more at home and welcomed here. I had a blast on the pub crawl lead by Luke, guessing people’s zodiac signs with Tom, and getting to know everyone who was around while I was. There’s something special going on at Galway City Hostel!

I have never been in an hostel as good as this one! It really clean, with many modern bathrooms and showers. The staff gives free towels and, under a low deposit, a lock to secure your stuffs in a box under your bed. Staff members were really kind and helpful, and especially Sarah helped me a lot with a problem with my booking. Furthermore, Galway is a really beautiful city, I think the most beautiful and peculiar city in Ireland and the hostel is in the city center, at 2 minutes walking by the rail and bus station. Surely I will book in this hostel the next time I will go to Galway….and I will go!!!

It was awesome! Super convenient if arriving by train and incredibly helpful staff (Brian is the best!!!) I worked during the days from the common room and honestly couldn't have been more comfortable. 100% recommend! My only comment would be to make sure you grab your own booze since they don't have any on-site for purchase but there is a store 2 steps away.

アクセス抜群のホステルです。エア・スクエアに面していますが、鉄道駅も近いし、コーチステーションはゆっくり歩いても２，３分だと思います。すぐ目の前にコンビニもあって便利です。 あまりに広場に近く道路沿いでもあるためですが、夜遅くや早朝に多少騒音がありました。週末ということもあり、かつその道路沿いの部屋だったこともあると思います。個人的には気になりませんでしたが、耳栓は携帯してもいいかもしれません。 部屋は、６人部屋でした。共有のバスルームは常時清潔でした。チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってくれます。ホステルなのに、朝食のパンが美味しかったです。

All round fantastic!
A fantastic hostel in every respect. Central location to the city and bars, and a sneeze from the train station. A well presented reception and common room, with friendly, engaging, and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bed/linen comfortable and clean. PowerPoints and lights available bedside. The amenities were functional, clean, and ensured privacy. Showers had great pressure and hot water, great after those cool days. Wifi was reliable. The breakfast was plentiful and had a good range of options. There is nothing negative about this hostel; it is a fantastic operation! I would highly recommend this hostel to any traveller.

Great hostel
The location was really nice, only main inconvenience is there's no elevator. I stayed in the big room and it was good, privacy curtains and each bed had a charging station and light. The ensure bathroom was really convenient with 3 showers and 2 toilets available. Breakfast was good with homemade bread and it's nice that they offer a €2 dinner to enjoy with an employee.

Nice hostel with central location
This hostel has a great location in the center of Galway. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I greatly enjoyed my time at Galway City Hostel and I will definitely be returning at some point in the future!
