Mountain King Cabin au-dessus de la rivière Yellowstone près de Yellowstone Park

Le Mountain King Cabin est un endroit incroyable pour appeler à la maison lors de votre visite à Yellowstone Park. Situé au cœur de Gardiner, sur les rives de la rivière Yellowstone, il se trouve à seulement 1,6 km de l'entrée nord du parc. La maison est orientée au sud et donne sur le parc, mettant en évidence une vue imprenable sur le pic électrique de 11 000 pieds. Vous pouvez littéralement regarder par les fenêtres ou sur le pont et voir: wapitis, antilopes, cerfs, et parfois des ours et des loups errant sur les flancs de Yellowstone.

Cette cabane en rondins rustique du Montana est un espace ouvert accueillant et aéré, il est idéal pour les groupes 6-8 avec un loft amusant pour les enfants! Le Mountain King a un accès privé à la rivière partagé avec la société de radeaux pour les amateurs de pêche. Descendez le chemin et ayez votre ligne dans l'eau en quelques minutes. Ce tronçon de Yellowstone est un secret local car il y a très peu de façons d'y accéder. Cette section n'est pas pêchée par des bateaux de pêche commerciale, la pêche est exceptionnelle.
Restez dans cette belle cabane ET passez quelques jours à faire du rafting, de l'équitation et à observer la vie sauvage à Yellowstone. C'est facile et tout en un! Les grands groupes peuvent réserver nos chalets voisins de Yellowstone, le Eagles Nest et Grizzly Den ..... parfait pour des vacances multi-familiales!

This cabin was perfect for my family of 7. The views from the deck were stunning and was a great way to start the day with coffee or end the day with the sunset. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we put the grill to good use. If we come back in the area I’d stay here again.

Everything was perfect. Thoughtful touches like bear spray to utilize during our stay, black washcloths for makeup removal, extra blankets, and a fully equipped kitchen and prep table. Beautiful bathroom and the view from the porch was unbeatable. Laundry onsite was super helpful for a family of five with littles.

Best stay while visiting Yellowstone

This was the perfect place for the last three nights of our trip. Had room to spread out, the views were amazing, walking to restaurants was so nice. We had a designated parking spot and never had an issue. I’ll be recommending this place to all friends visiting the park. Never a line to get through the gate!

Yellowstone River Perfect Stay

We recently stayed for three nights at this property while visiting Yellowstone. The location in Gardiner was so quaint and peaceful and we loved being in a property that overlooked the river. The cabin was well appointed and the extra touches of having toddler utensils, access to a booster seat and a safety gate was so thoughtful. We also enjoyed the comfortable beds and having coolers to use during our visits to the park. Check in and check out were very easy. Parking was very tight but you can’t beat waking up to the sounds of the river. The only drawback is the early morning rafting trips that launch next to the property. The line to lower the rafts is directly next to the two bedrooms and if you are hoping to sleep past eight then you are out of luck. Luckily we were up early so this was not an issue. Great cabin for a trip to the area and lots of coffee shops and local restaurants to dine at or grab food as you head into the parks.

This is a nice place right on the river. Sitting on the deck was a highlight. It is close to the grocery store and a coffee shop. Our only regret was staying one night.

Early Season Trip to Yellowstone

Very nice cabin with a great view. Parking is a challenge as it is in an alley behind a row of businesses facing Main Street. Multiple lights at the peak of the ceiling did not work reading at night was difficult. Great location for a fair price so we had plenty of time each day in the park, and cooked our own South Louisiana breakfast and dinner each day!

Paradise in Paradise Valley

The overall effect of this little cabin is so much greater than the sum of its parts. Once you figure out the awkward parking situation, the detached laundry room, and finicky heating & cooling, the rest of your time will be some of the best you've ever had. Mountain King has one of the best balconies in the entire world, I'm willing to wager, and walking straight into Yellowstone Park was one of the coolest wildlife experiences I've had. I actually feel silly reviewing it so well - because it'll probably be booked next time I want to visit!

Perfect and as described

Was a great place to tour Yellowstone. Conveniently located and so close with great views. The Town lacks restaurants but that’s on Gardiner house was good, though parking can be strained.

Yellowstone Get Away

We enjoyed the cabin and listening to the Yellowstone River! There is a significant problem with parking. The parking site is at the end of a dead end alley and we were trapped in for 2 days; thankfully we had access to our friend's car. Bring oil/nonstick spray but otherwise, there are plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans but minimal kitchen sundries. 6 blocks from the north entrance to the park was amazing and we did see elk from the deck in the park! Not likely to stay at the same cabin, but we would stay in one closer to the alley entrance.

No complaints, plenty of fans, clean, cozy, would recommend an updated couch but you don’t use it much anyways, didn’t even need to reach out to the owner because they informed us in details before we arrived. Highly recommended!

Yellowstone Park

It was an accurate description of the house. Amazing view and you’re right on the river. The view never gets old. Some elk came right up to our house, which was cool! The house itself was nice, cabin style, plenty of beds. A 2nd bathroom would have been nice but we knew that going into it. We noticed in the laundry room there were keys to all houses with each house listed. Probably for the cleaning staff but seemed a little unsafe. Overall very happy with our stay. Might be a little pricey ($1400 for 3 nights after taxes/fees).

Great creek side location

Cute cabin right above creek, found as described! Pros- -kids loved loft bedroom w four twins, - fun watching the flying pig set up their rafts (yes you can hear them but we’re up by 8:30 anyway) -deck overlooked creek, fun seeing wide life too Cons -walls within cabin are paper thin. For example if i was in master bedroom whole cabin can hear normal conversation. Every time my kids rolled over in beds upstairs I awakened bc I could hear it. My son literally put his finger from the loft floor edge into my bedroom to wave goodnight. -beds all were super squeaky and rolled on wood floors constantly. -tv in family room virtually unusable at 7feet up. -laundry is not in cabin. Separate bldg is easy but the hours are 4-9pm!! This was unknown and after a week in GTNP this threw a wrench in our plans. So Plan accordingly -Basically everything is very cute! But many things felt like they may fall apart, very much a rental and not someone’s home. We enjoyed our 5 nights! But likely would try something different if/when we return! Cons-

An awesome place in an awesome town!

The Mountain King was such a cute and cozy place to stay, with that incredible balcony overlooking the beautiful Yellowstone River! The only issue, and I’d read on some reviews about it, is that we were never able to park in that one offered spot! There was a permanent car parked several feet into that very narrow space!😁

Awesome!

The cabin was wonderful! Parking was a bit challenging but not a deterrent at all. Location was amazing. Gardiner is a fantastic little town, and the people are super friendly! You can walk to anything! The park is literally across the street, and so fun to watch rafters putting in while relaxing on the large porch on the river! Host is super responsive and helpful. We will be back!
