Initially I booked this cabin. I was told days before checking in that it was unavailable due to pests. Every one I dealt with from the hosting company in regards to changing my cabin was great and helpful. Then the day I go to check into the new cabin, I was informed at noon the cabin was clean and eligible for early check in even though normal check in was at 4pm. We did not arrive until 6pm and there was someone there inside cleaning. They quickly gathered up their supplies and left five minutes later. Everything appeared cleaned and ready for us but this just felt inconsiderate to be still cleaning 2 hours after our standard check in time, especially being told it was ready at noon. We enjoyed the cabin the first evening. But at night we encountered multiple roaches, one going across the floor, another in a downstairs bed, a third going across the main floor tv. We were very put off by this. I called the host company and spoke with someone to report the issue, informed them we would not be staying the second night, and was told they would reach out to me once there was an update. We left first thing in the morning and did not stay the second night of my reservation. I had reached out twice after this asking for a refund for the night we did not stay and was only given a refund for the booking and cleaning fees. I have not heard from the company since.
