Always a great getaway escape!
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the property. It has everything we want and need, as well as being dog friendly.. Close to wineries, it makes an ideal spot for a weekend getaway! We love that there is a lot of space, a lovely entertaining area out the back, and modern appliances. Pat is wonderful to deal with… We will be back!

Enjoyable place
We had the pleasure of spending a few days at Pat's place. Serene, quiet and plenty of open space appreciated by us and our blue heeler. Decor and furnishings are of a high standard and the home is very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again. Close to everything the Bellarine Peninsula has to offer.

Beautiful little place
We enjoyed a delightful family getaway at this property during peak season. Appreciated its slightly secluded setting with picturesque countryside views, ensuring a peaceful stay without disruptions from other holidaymakers. The proximity to the beach, just a 10-minute drive to Barwon Heads/Ocean Grove, was a bonus. The house itself was charming, accommodating 6 adults and 1 infant perfectly. Our only critique, preventing a 5-star rating, is that the futon beds lacked comfort. If there was a double bed or bunk beds in the reading room with a more comfortable mattress would have earned it a 5-star review from us.

Fabulous country stay, close to the beach, waterpark and wineries
Beautiful stay in this wonderful country property, so quiet and relaxing, and only 5-10 mins drive to everything you need for a great family holiday (shops, beach, off lead dog beach, water park, and wineries). We had a fabulous stay, and will definitely be visiting again soon!

Lovely gorgeous New Years stay
We loved the property, it was beautiful with vines, pond, firepit, cows and I think we saw a wombat too. At night, the stars were bright and beautiful. The house is cosy, well-designed and there were two living areas, as well as great bathrooms. Pat is a friendly, helpful host! It was close proximity to all the places we wanted to visit, yet felt so secluded we forgot we were minutes away from Geelong. Many thanks again for having us Pat!

We had the most amazing time away at Pat’s beautiful cottage. We went for a girls weekend and everything was perfect! The location is really good with the shops only a very short drive away, plenty of room for everyone in the house! The outdoor area is perfect, we loved using the fire pit! Made my wedding day extra special!
Patrick has been the best host that anyone can ask for! The property looks so clean, posh and all our getting ready photos looked amazing because of it. High Quality Good Value
This is a tastefully renovated high quality farm house about 1 km from Leopold centre. It was ideal for us as we were attending a wedding on the outskirts of Leopold. It would be most suitable for 2 couples as it has two queen bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 lounge rooms. All rooms are a good size including a well appointed kitchen.

Family and doggo had a very relaxing holiday. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable week away, including laundry facilities and wifi. The outdoor shower was perfect after getting back from the beach and the fire pit was a treat. The sofa bed in the reading room was not as comfy as the bedroom beds but that is expected for a sofa bed - the sunrise and view of the property upon waking (and the large TV) was worth staying in that room though! Pat was very flexible and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late on our last day, and responded to messages really quickly.

A wonderful family friendly and pet friendly farm cottage!
This delightful farm cottage delivered on everything as it was listed and the ease of check in/check out was so helpful. The location was really handy for us to explore the Bellarine Peninsula, as it was so central to all the places we wanted to visit (Portarlington, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff). The set up was perfect for our family and we felt really comfortable having our small dogs with us. Everything was great with the bedding, towels, decor, cooling, BBQ facilities, wifi and living areas.

We stayed here with our friends and children aged 1, 4 and 6. The house has all he amenities you need, is spacious, clean and homely. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. It was our first Christmas not being in the family home in Geelong so we were feeling a little sad, but this house & location helped us create new memories & we can’t thank Patrick enough. The online photos don’t do this property justice. Being able to bring our four legged family member was a huge bonus. He loved chasing the rabbits & freedom. We absolutely loved our time in this gorgeous home. The lovely nature outside to the warm sunlit atmosphere in a pretty country style home. A very spacious and welcoming atmosphere with modern features and a gorgeous luxurious bath tub to relax in. Idyllic
Perfection! Every little detail has been considered in this property. Check in was simple (we were even offered to check in the night before at no additional charge), the home is warm and welcoming and the setting is idyllic. My Mum, myself and our dogs had a wonderful stay and felt instantly relaxed when we arrived. The dogs loved exploring the property (and chasing rabbits) and we enjoyed the peacefulness and visiting neighbouring towns. Pat is an exceptional host - he even gave me the opportunity to explore the property on his ATV. Could not recommend this more highly. Will definitely be back.

"This is the best yet"
Was the summation of it teenage daughter about our stay. We've started in a number of farm stays over the years, and when I found this one online when looking for somewhere to stay near Geelong it looked too good to be true in the pictures. But the pictures in many ways don't do it justice. The house is beautiful, Pat was amazing, even accommodating us to stay an extra night. Check in was simple with the key code entry, no hassle of carrying an extra set of keys either! Only 15 minutes into the heart of Geelong, but you feel a world away from everything. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Geelong, or if you're simply looking to get away from it all and looking for a farm stay, this is it!

Really really good. Extremely convenient location as shops are only 3 mins down the road but the property still maintains the country feel. The sunsets are great and the surrounds are incredibly peaceful. Great location for any travel in the Bellarine area. Owner is friendly and easy going.

A wonderful getaway at a peaceful property
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The property owner let us to check in early and was also kind enough to extend our check out time. The property is well furnished, cozy and there is ample space at the backyard which has dedicated space for campfire and also enough space to dance and chill with friends and family. I would surely recommend this property and I, myself would love to go there again.
