Hotels nahe Glass at the Barn (Ashbourne)

„Beautiful village location, picture perfect. Barn itself had everything we needed for a self catering break and was a charming place to stay“

„Very friendly people, and gorgeous sights“

„Really clean room had everything you need. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Shops were a five minute walk but down a steep hill but we didn't mind.“

„Friendly welcome, nice dinner znd breakfast buffet. Great seating area with playground for kids nd table tennis, will come back in summer “

„Very good clean well managed.“

„Beautiful and well equipped room. If booking, be aware that there is no car park and they don’t serve breakfast although there are two excellent cafes close by. Wi-Fi is via I cloud and you need to have an account and know your password.“

„I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of ...

„The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up ...

„It was faultless. Warm and clean and everything you need for a stay as close as you can get to Alton Towers. Space to park and leave your car. 2-3 minutes walk to the turnstiles at Alton towers. Highly recommend the place.“

„Nice lounge to relax and read. Breakfast was great quality, lots of choice and good coffee! We booked a private room with ensuite which was in the barn annex. This was basic, but ok, but the heating wasn't working in that building. Soaking wet after 20mile walk. Staff eventually moved us to another private room, 4 bed, in the main building. On arrival at 5pm was told to order dinner before 6.30pm as there was a large group booked in at 7pm. So we did at 6.00pm only to be told the chef was now ...
