„My family and I stayed the month of December in Bourton-on-the-Water, our first trip to the Cotswolds. We chose Riverside House because the VRBO listing seemed exactly what we were looking for. Upon arrival we quickly realized that though the listing is quite accurate it does not express the charm and comfort of the Cottage, nor does it indicate how perfect the location is. „This 3 bedroom townhouse provided a good base to visit Cheltenham and it’s nearby trails. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. The location had easy access to the train station. The kitchen chairs in were uncomfortable however.“

„The apartment is situated in a peaceful area. You always find a parking place around. It is equipped with everything you need for cooking and living and a good starting point for excursions in the Cotswolds - and it is near the centre of Cheltenham. We enjoyed the stay very much.“

There was a fantastic welcome hamper including wine and easter chocolates, milk and beers in the fridge ,complimentary biscits and beverages. Cannot fault this property. Home from home. „Was informed 3 days before stay that we would be staying in a different house to listing, which for us was ok. Clean bedding, comfortable beds. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". Clothes hanging on doors, shoes left where they had just taken them off, generally a untidy house.“

„We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!“
