Lots to do in the area, namely the Golden Sky bridge, Emerald Lake, Tekakkaw Falls and Boo the Grizzley Bear on thr Kicking Hirse Mountain. Wayne and Tracey were very welcoming and made ys feel part if the neighbourhood. “

„We were very well served by Dave and his home. It has everything that you need… even crocs for going to the hot tub. I would agree that it is a bit tired but very homely and suited us perfectly. It’s in a quiet area a few minutes drive out of Golden with deer all around.“

„Overall, we give this place a 5. It was very spacious and comfortable—great for a relaxing stay. However, there were a few minor issues. The fan in our room was quite noisy, which made it harder to sleep soundly. The dishwasher hadn’t been unloaded, so we had to do that before using it. Additionally, for improved safety—especially for seniors—it would be great if the tub in the master bathroom had an anti-slip mat and/or a handle. „There were 18 of us ranging from 7 to 70 and renting both Monashee & Valhalla worked great for our large group. It was handy having the 2 kitchens and 8 bedrooms. We were able to move both picnic tables together on one patio to form a large gathering area for meals, games and just visiting. Would definitely rent again.“

„Stayed for a couple of night’s in advance of our son’s wedding which was held locally. After having already spent 5 nights on the road mainly in hotel rooms it was a relief to relax in the comfort of the Tamarack Suite. It is handy to downtown and local attractions but feels like you are in the woods. Definitely recommend staying here! “

"Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Lage sehr schön. Balkons durch Schwalbennester zum Teil wirklich nicht nutzbar, Tausch war bei uns jedoch ohne Probleme möglich. Keine Klimaanlagen, Lüften nur durch Balkontür möglich! Küchenzeile im Zimmer super für eigenes Frühstück. Viele Zimmer sind privat, daher auch bei ausgebuchtem Haus im Sommer wenige Touristen und Gastronomie sehr eingeschränkt, aber man bekommt vorher Info dazu und in Golden gibt es wirklich gute Restaurants. "
