„Slightly understaffed at times. Not all staff were friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Jessica who's the heart and soul of operations. Would be nice if staff passed the time of day when you see them e.g. for breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was excellent. Room cosy enough, mattresses good. Slightly damp. Heating not provided although requested and promised by member of staff. Excellently located to explore Lincoln and the area. Would probably return.“

„Good size and well equipped room. Most things newish and everything worked. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. One big issue stood out. The bathroom had no power socket (e.g. for shaver) and the sink/mirror area was in a small, dark, unlit alcove that prevented easy and convenient useuse“

„I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.“

Das Team, insbesondere Karen, hat keine Mühe gescheut, uns "late arrival (nach 6.00 p.m)" zu ermöglichen und war auch sonst äußerst hilfsbereit. Das Gästehaus liegt sehr ruhig und die Ausstattung entsprach unseren Erwartungen für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt, um diese historisch bedeutsame Stadt entdecken zu können. “
