« After over 2 weeks in Australia staying in 10 hotels costing from 120 to 250 per night, the Anchorage was the 1st disappointing hotel we had! Reasons: It is one of the most expensive hotel we booked. The WiFi was not working in our room, only in the lobby and pub, asking the question to a staff, he told us that the WiFi was not working in many rooms far from the lobby! While this is an historical hotel which we like, it is not maintained well, some lights are broken in the corridor, our room...

« This is the second time staying and it was rather disappointing. Two of the water slides were not in use, which reception did not inform me about at check in. Instead of removing what looked like the leg of a broken fibre glass model of what I assume was an emus leg by the mini golf course it was left there which wad dangerous and not a good look. We were disturbed by maintenance while there wishing to install fly screen at windows, in addition the cabin we stayed at the previous year was still...

« Absolutely beautiful! The cabin is stunning. So much room inside, gorgeous views. Outside is scenically stunning. So peaceful and quiet. Will most definitely be staying again. The walk up to the cabin is beautiful, inside and outside just stunning! »

« The kitchenette was equipped for takeaways as described. There are dishes and a sink.Would have been better with a toaster. Nespresso coffee pod machine was a nice touch. There is a bar fridge. Spa was great however was a bit over full. Courtyard was wonderful with outside chairs and table. This is a great place for a couples getaway. Right there in the Main Street close to everything. »

« Hosts were absent as it was harvesting time. Arrived during cellar opening time but no one was around. So our much anticipated wine tasting didn’t happen. There was a sign that stated no walking in the vineyard so we out in the boonies with nothing to do. I would have loved to walk the vineyards when we arrived. Nightcap was included but nothing available. We booked as suggested by friends who loved the place and the hosts. We had a brief encounter with host as we driving away to find dinner....
