Amazing home with all the amenities and more! The host made everything so easy. Fast, accurate and thoughtful communication. Wonderful mountain retreat You feel like you’re a million miles away but a short drive away are groceries and a few restaurants. The pictures do not do it justice.

A beautiful secluded house with amazing views of the mountains and sunsets. Plenty of amenities for both adults and kids between pool/hot tub, ping pong, darts, misc. games and outdoor activities. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking and they had a nice gas grill to utilize. Some shorter hiking trails were on the property (<1mile). Only few reservations with the property was it is a little bit of a drive (30mins + minimum) to most any activities and we stayed in the 2nd week of October and the stink bugs were very present. Other than that, we’d love to stay here again either same time of year or any other.

My kids and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was so amazing we immediately booked another stay for 2 months out! This house is EVERYTHING the listing states and MORE. There was so much to do both inside the house and outside the house. For me, sitting on the deck, enjoying the view with a cup of tea is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth I have ever experienced. My family (me and my 6 kids who range in age from 9-27) will be back as often as finances allow…the home, the host, and the ambiance exceeded our expectations by SO SO much.

Delightful hillside abode, with gorgeous views and all the possibilities for fun and relaxation. Came looking for a place to gather our offspring and families together while we were in VA for a wedding. We were out with wedding festivities much of the time and wished we had more time to just relax and enjoy the premises. Grandson enjoyed looking for polywogs in the pond and roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit. A little out of the way but we really enjoyed the outdoor space and tranquility!

My family and I booked this place for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was very well stocked! The kitchen is beautiful, and there is plenty of space for everyone! The basement was well stocked for the kids and kept them occupied even on a rainy day. Beds were comfortable. Be warned about gathering in the living room at night, as the master bedroom is a loft and can hear everything happening in the living room. Overall a gorgeous place that has all the amenities one could ask for. We want to come back in the summer so we can use the pool!

This is a very comfortable family home with stunning views. The Host has put a lot of thought into outfitting the kitchen and lower level family room, and the decor is very nice while still kid friendly. There are hundreds of videos to chose from in the lower level family room, but no streaming or cable. That was a little difficult for my news junkie husband to accept, but he enjoyed watching movies with the grandkids! The back deck is a very comfortable and relaxing amenity. If the weather had cooperated, we would have eaten every meal out there. We are looking forward to returning next summer when the pool is open. Between the rain showers, we hiked the trail and explored the property. Communication with the host was excellent. We had an issue with the hot tub, which led to a very nice phone conversion with the owner. We are looking forward to staying here again!

The house was very clean and well stocked. The indoor wood burning fireplace and fire pit outside were a hit. The hot tub was extremely nice and the view from it was beautiful. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again.

This cabin was everything and more! Some of the amenities we enjoyed the most were the outdoor shooting range, hot tub, watching movies complete with our very own popcorn machine, and ping pong/foosball. The owner was extremely responsive and the check-in/check-out process was so convenient! We definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for some time away to enjoy the great outdoors with friends and family!

Our extended family, ranging in age from 1 to 71, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the long Labor Day weekend. The kids couldn’t get enough of the pool! The DVD library gave us plenty of choices for movie night, there were craft supplies for the littles, and ping pong too! The kitchen was well supplied even for our big group. We definitely stretched the house to its limit but it was manageable. Consensus was “much better than the beach!” and “when can we go again?” so clearly this was a good choice.

This was the most enjoyable property I've ever rented! We were looking for a quiet place with a pool, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, space to explore the outdoors, and tucked away in the country. This checked all our boxes and more! While some guests swam, others watched a movie on the huge couch in the basement or went to the on-property shooting range. The property was very clean and well maintained. Honestly, even the carpet felt brand new and was clean, soft, and plushy! Communication with the property manager was excellent and we will hopefully be back in the future for more fun and relaxation.

My family and I wanted a quiet getaway vacation. A few days to relax and spend time together. This was the perfect place! The house nicely accommodated the 4 of us. We also had our dog, which was a nice allowance by the owners. The pool was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The sunsets were spectacular!!!!

We stayed here for a weekend as a group of girls. The drive from the main road to the house is a little rugged, but the house and property are amazing! Pool was beautiful, house was well stocked with any utensils, or needs that we had. The host checked in while we were there and was very quick to communicate back with any questions we had!

This was such a hidden gem! The entire stay was just perfect. The view is amazing and the pool was fabulous. We all had such a great time. The deck was glorious. There was plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the beautiful views! It is such a beautiful cottage to escape to! Its was very clean. It really felt like we were just visiting a home - not a rental. I have never seen a VRBO so well stocked on every day goods (condiments, baggies, kitchen stuff, all the stuff we usually bring). We can't wait to come back and visit!

We stayed for a week and had a very good time. The drive to the house is up a steep gravel road. I could see how drivers not used to mountain roads would feel nervous, but compact sedans did just fine. The house had so many things to do; we were never bored. Most days we spent in the pool. We were excited about the diving board. The pool is heated to a comfortable temperature. The pool deck is made of an unusual concrete. In bare feet it felt similar to walking on gravel. Most of us kept our flip flops next to the pool stairs or ladder. There were plenty of cool mornings and evenings when someone would look wistfully at the closed-up hot tub and wish it were available. A few of us really enjoyed the outdoor shower. It's completely open on the one side facing the gorgeous mountain view, so we just made sure no one went out there then. It is very remote. There were no signs of anyone else nearby all week. The view is at least as good as the photos look. Just past the pool in the lawn they had set up 4 or 5 bug zappers that did pretty well at keeping mosquitos away. There's always a shady spot on the deck with comfortable furniture. Inside there was a lot to do, too. A "well-stocked kitchen" means there's food already there as well as utensils. Not a lot, but maybe a few things you forgot to get. Our teens loved the popcorn machine. There were bags of serving-sized popcorn there and various flavors. We used the card table and chairs downstairs to set up some board games and puzzles. The kids found an art center and drew and colored pictures. The TV is down in the basement. That is probably a good idea since any noise on the main level would disturb sleeping people in the upstairs loft area that has an open wall. The wi-fi was accessible all over the house, but the Internet speed is rather slow. Web browsing and email were fine, but streaming shows were hit or miss. I was surprised at how many additional activities or amenities were here. We would have been happy to stay another whole week!
