Wir wurden im Marina Suites einquartiert, da Bayview aktuelle noch wegen Corona geschlossen ist. Marina Suites ist ein super Hotel mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer, direkt am Hafen. Die Anlage, inkl. Pool und Adult-Only Bereich sind sehr gut gepflegt. Das Apartment ist groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Rezeption hilft beim Buchen eines Coronatests vor der Abreise.

Das Hotel liegt an einer guten Stelle, sehr ruhig, schnell am Strand und vor allem eine tolle Aussicht. Leider sind die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, abgenutzt und könnten eine Renovation vertragen. Der Empfang war toll, auch wunderschön, sobald man in den Lift steigt, sieht man das alter an. Betten sind toll, sehr gut geschlafen, wenn man einschlafen konnte! Man kann die Zimmer nicht dunkel machen, draussen leuchtet die Beleuchtung die ganze Nacht, es leuchtet überall ins Zimmer und ist sehr störend. Den Fernseher kann man nicht im Bett schauen, somit hilft er nicht beim Einschlafen. Das Frühstück ist der Traum, sehr frisch, tolle Auswahl, nettes Personal und immer wieder gerne!!!

On the one hand, I am sorry to read that our apartments have not met your high expectations. As for the advice regarding the renovation, we would like to know more about it, and it would be useful if you could specify what have looked old to your eyes. We strongly believe there is always room for improvement, this is why some more details would be perfect. Also, we would have appreciated you had told us about your need of having a television inside your bedroom, so that we could have given you another kind of apartment. We always try to satisfy our guests' requests when it is possible. Regarding the lack of darkness inside the apartment, I cannot understand the problem actually, since every window has got a curtain you can use to avoid the light to enter from outside. On the other hand, it is a real pleasure to know that you have appreciated the very quiet location of our hotel, from which you can easily reach Puerto Rico's beach. We are also glad you have enjoyed the amazing view upon the harbour, along with the friendly and attentive approach of our personnel, our beautiful reception, the comfort of the beds in your apartment and the delicious and varied buffet breakfast we prepare daily for our guests and that you could taste at La Ballena Pool Bar. Im ersten Moment erschreckt vielleicht die Größe des Hotels, entgegen der vielen anderen "Bettenburgen" in Puerto Rico, streckt sich die ganze Anlage jedoch ziemlich in die Länge und ist durch die stufige Lage auch sehr gut verteilt. Die Zimmer sind sehr angenehm gestaltet und auch die vorgelagerten Terrassen oder Balkone sind sehr schön und bieten etwas Ruhe. Die Liegen am Pool sind ausreichend, das Frühstück reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit würden wir unseren Urlaub dort wieder verbringen,

Das Hotel an sich ist in Ordnung. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber von der Lage her ganz gut. Allerdings treiben auf dem Hotelanwesen Kriminelle Banden ihr Unwesen und werden dabei vom Management unterstützt. In unserem Zimmer wurde nach 3 Nächten eingebrochen, dabei wurde ein iphone sowie beide Geldbörsen und eine Handtasche entwendet. WÄHREND wir im Hotelzimmer geschlafen haben. Am nächsten Morgen erklärte der Manager, dass dies das erste mal gewesen sei und sie daher nicht recht wissen wie man mit der Situation umgeht. Außerdem sei es ja 'unsere Schuld gewesen, weil wir keinen Safe gebucht haben.' Allerdings haben 50% aller Zimmer EINBRUCHSSPUREN (Türen werden einfach aufgehebelt) - auf diesen Hinweis hat der Manager leider nicht mehr geantwortet. Es wurde keine Polizei hinzugezogen, weil das auf der Insel unüblich sei. Letzten Endes wurden wir mit dem Problem alleine gelassen und mussten uns selbstständig um alle Anliegen kümmern. Das ist eine absolute Frechheit und sollte so absolut nicht passieren. Daher rate ich allen Gästen stark davon ab sich in diesem Hotel einzumieten. Während unserer Anwesenheit wurde noch bei zwei weiteren Gästen eingebrochen. Wir hatten ein Deluxe (SELECT) Zimmer und waren im April 2017 für 5 Nächte im Hotel. Zum Glück ist uns nichts schlimmeres zugestoßen - wir waren sehr glücklich als wir abreisen durften.

We've spend one week there for holidays and it was a really nice stay. Hotel staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located, short walks to restaurant and shops. Fair prices at the restaurant. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Wir haben selten so freundliches tolles Personal an der Rezeption erlebt wie hier! Das Hotel ist wirklich chic und schön - hat aber einen Haken, der es für Urlaub zu Dritt nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert macht. Zu Zweit - toll! Der Haken sind die Lamellentüren im Apartment und die Schwingtür (ebenfalls mit Lamellen) zur Toilette, wo man egal wo man im Apartment ist - Alles hört. Ansonsten tolles Hotel

Hotelanlage ist TOP wird aber wohl im Sommer 2012 in ein 4 Sterne Hotel umgewandelt und der Name zu Marina Bay View o. ä. umgewandelt. Beste Lage in Puerto Rico in Südhang. Schöner Pool direkt mit Meer und Hafenblick. Zimmer sehr geräumig und sehr sauber. Neue und hochqualitiative Einrichtung.

Die beste Aussicht auf Gran Canaria.
Wir sind bereits das 4. Mal in diesem Hotel. Bis jetzt waren wir immer sehr zufrieden, jedoch hat die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern, Küche und Terasse sowie in der gesamten Anlage, etwas abgenommen. Vielleicht haben wir auch dieses Mal ein Apartment bekommen welches sehr frequentiert war. Der Service ist allerdings sehr schnell und freundliches Personal an der Repcession. So hatten wir die ersten 3,5 Tage kein warmes Wasser, offensichtlich Leitungsbruch. Anstandslos erhielten wir allerdings prompt für 3 Tage den Mietpreis in bar zurück. Insgesamt ist das Hotel weiter zu empfehlen, 1. wegen der genialen Lage und 2. wegen dem guten Service.

Wunderschöner Blick über das Meer
Das Hotel liegt an einem Steilhang, vom Pool und von jedem Zimmer aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über das offene Meer und den Hafen. Das Hotel ist in den letzten Jahren renoviert worden, die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel ist bestens ausgestatten mit Aufzug, Restaurant, Lobby, Spielzimmer, Supermarkt... über ein Treppe neben dem Hotel kommt man innerahalb von 5-10 Minuten zum Strand, Supermarkt, Minigolf, Restaurants, Bars usw.

Immer wieder!
Das Hotel ist einfach toll, trotz der NUR 2 Sterne! Das Zimmer ist modern und schön eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und der Service war super freundlich und hilfreich. Es sind keine 5 Minuten zum Strand aber auch der Hotelpool war sehr schön! Die Hotelbar war zwar nicht nach unserem Geschmack aber das machte gar nichts, da zahlreiche super leckere Restaurants und schöne Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe lagen! Der Meerblick war ein weiterer absoluter Pluspunkt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder bin fahren!

Relaxing getaway
What a fantastic stay at this gem of a place. Lovely and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The place is kept so clean - no easy feat with the sand and dust coming up from the beach! The view we had from our balcony was wonderful. The courtesy room with shower on the last day was such a handy touch, being able to use that to freshen up after a day by the pool before leaving for home was amazing. There were only 2 things that weren't perfect - the 119 steps down to beach level (can't be helped, but just a warning to those who might have an issue with that) and breakfast. For 15euros each I wasn't impressed with the offer. Other than that, we would visit again.

Relaxing, resort-feel hotel. Located just round the corner from the main centre, it overlooks a marina. Although the road into town runs below the hotel, it wasn’t noisy, and the hotel itself is quiet and laid-back. Lovely pool, great breakfast and well worth adding, rooms convenient and airy. We instantly relaxed here. There’s a small shopping centre at the bottom with a good range of restaurants and a decent supermarket, so plenty of choice for evening meals. Pool towels provided free, regular room cleaning.

Super lækkert hotel. God udsigt og absolut rent. Synes dog der manglede en restaurant til om aftenen. Der var "Kun" åbent til morgenmad og frokost. Og så var der rigtigt mange trapper op til hotellet. Så absolut ikke et hotel for dårligt gående.

Dit hotel is echt een aanrader! Echt alle medewerkers zijn uiterst vriendelijk, de kamer is super schoon, het uitzicht geweldig, de bedden lagen heerlijk, de douche had een goede hoge druk. Het was een zeer gevarieerd ontbijt wat goed smaakte. Deze zou ik terplaatse toevoegen aan je arrangement, want dat is een stuk goedkoper. Zelf boodschappen doen is een stuk duurder voor wat je allemaal krijgt. Naast de gym kan je ook lekker bewegen door de trappen die je moet lopen om beneden te komen. Wij vonden dit heel prettig. Bayview is echt van de details en dat merk je in alles. Enige minpuntje waren de louvre deurtjes bij de wc, deze kan niet op slot en zijn ook niet helemaal dicht. Wel hebben ze een spray die automatisch er voor zorgt dat nare geurtjes snel verdwijnen.

Really beautiful hotel with magnificent views over the Marina. A Select Seaview room guarantees this wonderful view. The pool is heated and quiet. The breakfast had plenty of choice. The free courtesy room for showering before home is a real bonus. Very clean. The hotel is in a good location but with 160 steps from roadside to room it’s a bit much in the heat . Taxis are a must or a car.

Har vert ett glimrende opphold, alle 6 ukene ble helt perfekt. Personalet gjør en glimrende jobb det gjelle alle, det er fryd å være gjest.Vi har hvert her mange ganger er like fornøyd hver gang.Vi fekk en forglemmelig gebursdag feiring vi ikke glemmer. Stå på jenter og gutter dette var topp.

Very Disappointed
I have to say I was expecting good things coming here but was sadly disappointed. From the reviews it painted a different picture to what it actually was like. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good location and nice enough but not worth the money at all (over priced)! And over rated in my opinion. Just to note why - I booked 3 nights for myself and partner and lasted one night before checking out :( Unfortunately little ants are everywhere which put me off to start with (over the walls, kitchen area and even next to the beds). Then you have a very basic apartment with very thin walls able to hear people staying next to you - this leads to the plumbing system, you can hear when they go to the toilet it’s that loud (in the middle of the night). The shower drains very slow so you end up standing in a pool of water before having to let it drain before continuing with your shower. The service was the only thing I was happy with - very friendly and polite. The breakfast is a good small selection but to a good standard. Overall It wasn’t enough to make me want to stay for my 3 nights so checked out and left - very disappointing.

Superfint läge med sol hela dagen, fantastisk frukost, stor rymlig lägenhet med terass. Det enda var väl att det fanns ingen möjlighet att äta på hotellet i deras resturang eftersom att den stänger kl19. Likaså är hissen inget jag ville åka i. Den är en utompåliggande hiss, ingen AC i den så temperaturen är säkert 40-50 grader och känns inte helt stabil...
