Room was gross and staff did nothing about the loud party next to us that had complaints from every room around them. My kids were kept up until 4am. Tried to speak with a manager for the whole day and he would not respond to us. Refused to refund us or give us any compensation for the disaster of a night.

This was a lovely place to stay nice clean pool and the room had a full-size fridge raider microwave and dishwasher. My only thing that I think could be improved was I have a Tesla and unfortunately, they had throttled the Tesla chargers to a slow charge so I wasn’t able to get a full charger overnight.

Aside from house keeping,our stay was amazing
House keeping could have been better but over all the hotel is really nice. This is our second year staying there and the staff is always friendly and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, a definite hidden gem. Well worth the money for the comfort.

Good hotel experience. New, updated furniture and style. Could've been a little cleaner (food under couch and bathroom needed more attention.) If you like a firm mattress then the beds are for you! Too hard for my liking. Continental breakfast was ok. Very friendly staff!👍

Everything went smooth until 2:45 AM when the room next door and 2 rooms across the hall were filled with rowdy, drunk people making a lot of very loud noise. We called the front desk and they were very receptive and came up and knocked on the door of the rooms. Unfortunately, the employee was received with rude comments and the people did not stop the noise. We had to call the front desk again at 4 AM to ask that they stop the noise next-door. We didn’t get any sleep and it was a terrible night. Not the fault of the hotel, but the very inconsiderate drunk guests staying in rooms next to us.

We stay a couple times a year and it was really nice but the last couple of visits haven't been the best. It has been dirty and there was so much noise this time we didn't get much sleep the 4 nights we stayed. Friday night was the loudest with blaring music at 3 am and it sounded like a street race in the parking lot. The staff is always so friendly though and I am comfortable there, just probably won't be staying there anymore.

Perfect for our purpose. Ally Senior Tour golf tournament. Never used small indoor pool or fitness room. Staff were outstanding. Very friendly. Limited dining in the immediate area but a short drive to Grand Blanc for more options. Room was clean, quiet with a couch and kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and dishes/cutlery.

Booked room as non-refundable. Other couple staying with us contracted covid infection and couldn't come. Had Expedia reach out to Home 2 to see if we could move to cheaper room due to this event. Home 2 never bothered to answer several communications from Expedia. Got to hotel and person at desk couldn't tell us anything about this. checked in and found room which couldn't have been cleaned - one of two queen beds clearly mussed up and never remade, popcorn on floor along with empty water bottle; no body wash in dispenser in shower; bathroom floor soiled. Staff was helpful and breakfast was decent. Wouldn't hurry back

Nice location, but experience could be better.
Location was nice, room was clean and comfortable. However, breakfast was mediocre and not stocked well, unlike a past stay at this location. Family getting breakfast after us had no bowls available and limited options even when area was not busy at all and quite a bit of time left for breakfast schedule.

Thank you for taking the time to offer feedback about your stay. I am happy you found the room to your liking. We strive to make guests feel at home. I do apologize for the breakfast situation. We are struggling with getting dishes returned from our long term guests which leaves us short some days. It is a work in progress. As for the limited selection I will use this information for some retraining with the breakfast staff as that is not the breakfast experience I wish for our guests.

I love the common areas of this hotel! We've stayed here before and have enjoyed our time there borh times, especially the indoor pool that is clean, inviting, and is actually warm enough to swim in! The coffee was delicious!! The bathrooms need to be cleaned a little more thoroughly, especially the sink and the floor tile grout.

Not happy.
We only stayed one night. When we went to make out the pull out couch there wasn’t Ny bedding available in the room. I called the front desk and was told to come down and get it. When I asked for pillows for the bed they said they were out. The next morning they were out of plates for breakfast.

The night staff was great. The person in charge of the morning/afternoon hours was unnecessarily rude. If I had not been able to control myself it would have gotten very bad. I will not forget her rude seemingly racial behavior towards me. I left my room key in my room and needed to get back inside. This was my second day. I was told my name nor my mothers (Who is 78 years old) was not in her system as guest and I may be at the wrong hotel. Of course I was confused at the statement. I had no idea what was going on. I had already paid for two days and my things were in the room. The woman was absolutely unfriendly. Just plain rude Instead of an apology when she realized what her staff had done incorrectly I was told, mam you can leave if I did not show my drivers license and speak with a correctly to her. I walked away to gather myself, before their mistake turned against me. I did not use any profanity or yell. It would have given this lady at the front desk a perfect reason to call the police. After being what I feel was harassment; she asked for my address and gave me another key. No I will not give this place a positive review.

We stayed here for a funeral for my Nana. We have 2 babies & a dog with us. We were looking for a safe, clean place for our family. We found it here! Everyone has been very kind and the lady that checked us in has been very sweet to me. We are thankful!

Benefit of the doubt
I stay here often and every other visit has been great but this time was lacking. We had to move rooms and the second was just as dirty as the first. The first room had crumbs and wrappers under every surface so it was cleaned based off of what can be seen easily. The shower wasnt clean either. The second room there were socks next to the vanity in the bathroom when we got there. So we know that not everything was cleaned. There was also an issue with the fridge not working but maintenance went above and beyond to make sure that was taken care of. One last note is that the first night we were there we only had 2 towels for 4 of us that was marked in our reservation and when we went down to get more they said they didnt have any and we said that wasnt going to work and then the guy went and found some and said we were lucky. Every other employee was great though. We will stay again and we are just hoping that this was a one time thing.
