« Loved this place, a little out of Cartmel but liked that, pleasant evening stroll into town, great view across the racecourse, well looked after hotel, plenty of parking Points to improve could do with some car chargers but thats a minor point, will be back »

« The hotel is old and looks neglected .The rooms are clean and functional, nothing more. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar area is nice and spacious with a good selection of food and drinks. Breakfast is definitely the highlight with a good selection of continental and hot food. The service was good. The lift is dodgy. Gardens and grounds can do with some maintenance and a clean up. »

« Characterful hotel, great ambiance. Car parking adequate even with 2 weddings on. Outlook was tremendous especially in the good weather. Service was pleasant and efficient. Overall a great break. »

« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. The view was on some sort of roof/installation that nearly blocked all light. I will add that other rooms, which I saw the next morning while housekeeping was cleaning, looked much better. I'm...

« Les hôtes étaient très accueillants. Le petit dej très bien aussi. C'est un B&B familiale très agréable. Le dimanche de Pâques mes 2 filles ont eut un gros oeuf en chocolat, c'est très gentil. »
