Eine unvergessliche Urlaubswoche liegt hinter uns. Das Hotel können wir uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Toller Empfang, tolle Ausstattung, tolles Zimmer. Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam und super freundlich. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. für jede Frage hat man ein offenes Ohr. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Hotel macht einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Das gilt auch für die Zimmer und die Außenanlage. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechungsreich. Da kann man nicht meckern. Das Restaurant war sehr gut, tolle Gerichte zu fairen Preisen. Was wir bemängeln könnten (auf hohem Niveau): - das Personal war freundlich, insbesondere der Manager. Bei einigen war allerdings noch Luft nach oben. - wir hatten die Junior Suite mit Meerblick. Großes Appartment mit 2 Zimmern. Allerdings ist die Einrichtung etwas altmodisch, 80er Jahre Stil. Im Bad war nur eine Badewanne, das Duschen daher etwas umständlich. Der ca. 40 qm große Balkon hätte auch noch reichlich Platz für Liegestühle gehabt. Fazit: trotz der kleinen Mängel ein super Aufenthalt!

Eins vorweg, das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und die Zimmer sauber. Bei genauerem Hinschauen findet man, gerade im Poolbereich, richtige Gammelstellen. Grünspan an den Fliesen zur Poolbar, schwarze Fugen am Überlauf. Wenn hier nicht schnell und regelmäßig in Stand gesetzt und auch gehalten wird verliert das Hotel seinen Charm.

Das Hotel war einfach super. Schönes Hotel, toller Service, super Lage! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Wirklich traumhaft. Der Poolbereich war auch echt schön. Haben uns dort richtig wohlgefühlt. Auch das Frühstück war super und es gab eine große Auswahl. Wir waren total begeistert und würden sofort wieder dort hin fahren.

Kind and attentive staff. Very nice hotel but away from high end. The restaurant is ok for a quick meal but I strongly recommend to have a look at Markos, an extern restaurant, 2 minutes by feet from the hotel. Breakfast is ok but also not high end. A non-smoking area would have been very nice. Not everybody enjoy to inhalate the dirt from smokers.

Grosszügiges, gepflegtes Hotel mit gutem Service
Das Cretan Dream Royal Hotel liegt Eingangs Stalos und somit noch nicht direkt an der "Touristenmeile". Daher recht ruhig. Man hört einzig die nahe Strasse, die auch überquert werden muss, um zum Strand zu gelangen. Die Hotelanlage erstreckt sich rund um einen grossen, gepflegten Garten. Die Lage des Pools mit der Pool-Bar ist toll. Der Pool bildet mit Meer eine Linie und von der Bar hat man einen schönen Ausblick. Der Empfang war "professionell" freundlich. Nicht ganz so herzlich wie in einem kleineren, familienbetriebenen Hotel. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 314) war sehr grosszügig und gut ausgestattet sowie sauber. Es hatte einen abgetrennten Wohnbereich mit einer kleinen Küchenzeile sowie einen Balkon mit seitlichem Meerblick. Zur Begrüssung standen eine kleine Flasche Weisswein und ein einige Früchte bereit. Der Service war sehr gut. Das Frühstückbuffet bot was das Herz begehrt. Es kann drinnen aber auch draussen gegessen werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beste Qualität in perfekter Lage
Der Zugang zum Strand, der Swimming Pool und die Küche waren hervorragend. Die Zimmer-Ausstattung ist modern mit einer starken kretanischen Farbe. Das Zentrum von Chania ist nur 10 Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt. Büse kommen jede 10 Minuten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Gastfreundlichkeit des Personals.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and our room was clean. The hotel complex was great-pools was big enough and there were enough sun lounges. The beach opposite wasn’t very nice and the direct surroundings weren’t either. Just a short walk away from a shop, restaurants and better beaches. Overall a great holiday.

Veldig trivelig hotell, fantastiske middager.
Flott service og ypperlig renhold. Vår værelsepike var rask og nøye, hun ga oss fantastiske figurer av håndklær, nye hvær dag! Alle blide og hyggelige på en naturlig og ekte måte. Hotellet oser av soliditet, men noe slitt på treverk som engang ga solid intrykk. Eneste iriterende var dørene som skulle "gjemme bort" kjøkkenet. De var iiriterende i veien. Frokosten ok, middagene fantastisk! Kommer gjerne tilbake bare pga av kokken.

Disappointing!
Elderly couples need to know that certain areas of resort require many stairs. The design of the hotel is NOT friendly to senior citizens. When we asked to be moved because of difficulty, nothing could be done. We will not return, and advise Seniors to make certain to request rooms having good elevator access! VERY disappointed.

They have the sweetest staff which makes all the difference-so attentive and caring. The hotel also serves some of the freshest food. Being gluten free can also make it difficult to travel but the hotel has gluten free food products in their lobby market! They also went back to get my little one gluten free toast in the morning and used the back oven to avoid cross contamination. They were SO accommodating. Which made a world of difference to us. I was even told of their water filter in the hotel which filters all of the water. This level of health mindedness impressed me so much. I can't say enough good things about The Cretan Dream- it is the only place I'll stay at while in Crete.

I have nothing really negative to say about our stay here. Perhaps the pool is not as big as I thought it would be and getting an umbrella and sunbed was quite difficult. But that is the case with every hotel I was at in Crete. Also the beach directly across the hotel is not great. But if you walk just three minutes down the road there are beachfront restaurants/bars with umbrellas and sunbeds. Very reasonable prices. Bottom line is we had a great time. And if anyone that is going to be in the area I would recommend this property.

An aspiring 4- star hotel at best. The reception service proved to be quite disappointing. Our room was very bad.It was situated in the basement, the room lacked any view whatsoever due to an obstructed window. Despite our attempts to switch rooms, the hotel insisted on an additional charge of 60 Euros per night. The condition of our assigned room was far from satisfactory, with everything appearing quite antiquated. Even the TV was small and outdated, and the safe required a physical key from the reception rather than a digital interface. On the brighter side, breakfast was acceptable, the pool met our standards, and parking arrangements were satisfactory. It's worth noting that the hotel's location necessitates guests to have their own vehicle for convenient access.

Such a beautiful property- unlike any other. The front desk staff are also SO helpful and available all the time. The food is incredible and the views are the best! This is the only hotel in the area that I've ever actually returned to- it is the best one in Crete! If you have time to try the spa, I highly recommend that you do! Best facial ever. Once you experience The Cretan Dream, you won't want to stay anywhere else.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Cretan Dream! The staff are *SO friendly* and really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The food was AMAZING and they had great entertainment nights with cultural dances and music. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel so going to the city centre was super easy. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. I already booked my next stay!

A mixed bag…. The hotel is situated on a busy road. Unfortunately our room faces the road which has a lot of traffic and the pool and bar. So it can get quite noisy. The hotel in parts is rundown - rooms are dated, furniture worn, and although fine for 1-2 nights not great for a longer family stay. It pays to have a car to visit other areas, beaches, Chania is 20 mins by car. The pool area and grounds are attractive and food & customer service is very good.
