Spent a week with our immediate family and we all enjoyed staying here. It is a rural location with three cows in the backyard and chickens roaming the property. The house was clean and spacious. The house has a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices and kitchen items (expresso maker, wine cooler, hot air stove). The house is very comfortable and has musical instruments, an eclectic variety of books and music in every room. We enjoyed the deck with a hot tub, gas grill, sectional sofa table and fire pits. The owner just installed an above ground saltwater pool that was great to cool off.
There is a golf course right across the street with a club house a short walk away. Lots of nice easy hikes in the area, horse riding a couple minutes away at K&K Equestrian, (nice people), and Howe Caverns. Not a lot to do in the area but we were looking for a place to hang out and this fit the bill.
If you are going to spend time outside look out for ticks. I understand they are everywhere in that area but we found three on people and five on the dog.
