« I was traveling by myself and just wanted a cozy cabin by the ocean. Located away from the main house, it is a very quiet spot with just the birds singing and two very friendly dogs,beautiful grounds and access to the dock. »

« We really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and unique! My daughter lived watching the bunnies and hummingbirds. It is an old house so be prepared for creaky floors and bed, which added to the charm, for me. It was a bit of a drive when we wanted to go sight-seeing but I feel that that was fairly reflected in the price! Beautiful area and wonderful trip. »

« This was a beautiful and quaint little cottage that suited our needs for a lovely 3 nights on Salt Spring. The decor made it feel like you were at the beach and we were able to enjoy and relax while being there. The host kindly greeted us at our arrival and made us feel very welcomed with offerings with answers to any questions we had. Not too far from Ganges, so close to lots of amenities. « Magical, whimsical, total perfection. Tara and Martin have done such an amazing job of this oasis. Every detail is so thoughtful, the only issue was on our end by not booking another night or two here. It was so nice to come from three nights camping to a place so cozy. I already miss the outdoor baths and showers and waking up inside the forest. Thanks for such a wonderful stay »

« The Bird House is in excellent condition with high quality finishes. It is quiet and feels like a deep woods getaway despite being a short drive to anything and everything. We were very comfortable here and were able to mix work, relaxation and exploration of the island. We watched the sunset from Vesuvius Beach every night! »

« Our stay was great in this good sized one bedroom unit and we would definitely stay here again.The unit is separate from the main house with a nice view of the sunset over the Saanich Inlet. The location feels remote and is very quite but is only a short drive to Sidney and other area attractions. »

« We had a great stay at this property. Very clean and modern, also a great location in a quiet neighborhood very close to downtown Victoria. Easy access to all the sights. Host was great, provided welcome snacks and had great communication. Photos of the property are exactly what saw upon arrival, and the unit had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Victoria BC. »
