« Came with a few friends and my dog. We had a great stay! It was exactly what we were looking for - something remote and rustic. Still had everything we needed - working wifi, an (outdoor) shower with warm water, a clean outhouse, a lovely dock on the water, plenty of firewood, and close enough to town. The views are amazing. Laurie and Kevin were super helpful and communicative. »

« Location was convient as the side by side trail passes in front of the rental,Perfect area also if you just wanted to go canoeing, relaxing in front of the outdoor fire pit.The cottage was modern and beautiful.The downside , not kid friendly .For a weekend or week getaway, it’s perfect for a group of adults, I would give it a 10/10 »

« Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶 »

« We had an awesome time! The water access is great if you are going kayaking or boarding. But with the little kids, we went over to Diamond Lake Beach and it was quiet and sandy! Will definitely return one day! »

« Very nice property, close to boat launches for water activities and close to atv trails! The hosts were very kind and gave us some good tips for atv trails and paddle boarding spots! Would totally go back and recommend to my friends! »

« Beautiful space and view, truly in the woods, for an excellent off grid adventure. The lakefront is lovely, with well maintained spaces. »

« Had an amazing stay in the wolf cabin; Exceeded our expectations! Super clean, private, and comfortable. Only a few minutes away from town which made getting around very easy. Ellen was an amazing host - super responsive and answered all of our questions. This was the perfect getaway for me and my fiancée - we will definitely be booking again! »

« The property was nicely secluded, with multiple trails leading up to the top of the escarpment with a lovely view of Golden Lake. The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the AC was perfect for sleeping as we went in a 35° July heatwave. Great little fire pit with affordable firewood supplied by the hosts. Be mindful of leaving any dry food in the screened-in kitchenette if going out for more than an hour -- the local chipmunks are hungry and know what they're looking for. Only minor...
