« Large clean room with crisp sheets on the bed. Both the bed and the pillows were too firm, resulting in limited sleep I was convinced that continental breakfast was included when I booked the room. However the Expedia booking did not state that ,nor did the information sent to the Porters Lodge. The charge was though only £5 pp. »

« We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend. »

« A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. « The room was lovely and big, bathroom very clean and staff all friendly. About a half an hour bus from Hereford town. There was an issue with the wifi in the room though, so had to use my data to work remotely. »

« Perhaps I made the wrong choice but I did not enjoy my night and left before my (paid for) second night. There was one light in the room, a table lamp that was damaged and could not be altered. There were supposed to be towels in the showers but they were face flannel sized. I am really not sure what the people running the facilities were trying to achieve, but it was uncomfortable and unpleasant. Never again. »
