« Very quite and clean. »

« It was cozy and cute. They allowed us to check in early and they were very accommodating. It was a short walk to the beach and the weather was beautiful. The fire pit was a nice touch as we were excited about making s'mores. This was one for the books. Definitely go back! »

« A great little cottage, steps from the beach! The owner was a fabulous host, very communicative and helpful. Lots of little extras included such as linens, towels, spices, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, everything you need. A/C worked great, ceiling fans throughout, nice little deck. We were very comfortable and had a great vacation! ! »

« If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Everything was wonderful. Clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. They even had kayaks on site and sand toys for the kids. The Weber grill was perfect for grilling out every night. The swing set meant the kids were always entertained. The hosts were so responsive from start to finish. Access to Oscoda for groceries was quick and easy. Beach was private, not crowded, clean and overall just lovely every day. Cannot wait to return! »

« Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...

« This cottage has just what you need in a spot that has everything you need. On the river, near the lake but walking distance to stores, restaurants and ice cream. Jerry and Jen are so welcoming and accommodating. Cottage was clean and well taken care of. »

« Everything was wonderful. It was cozy and nicely lit decorated. Dorene was wonderful. I had left some things and she so graciously made arrangements to mail the items to me. It is a wonderful, peaceful home with a fabulous dock. We are coming back for our honeymoon. »

« We had a great stay! The cottage was exactly like the pictures showed, very cute and updated. Lake Huron was just outside our door. We had some spectacular sun rises and sunsets! We were there for leaf peeping and would love to return in the summer time. »

« Very nice property just remember it's 50 steps down to the lake wasn't a problem for me but my wife could only do it a few times. Smokey's bar and grill right down the road. 2. Mi great place for dinner or cocktails makes things easy and fun! »

« Wonderful stay!We had a group of 4 adults 5 kids 1 dog, and the recently renovated space accommodated us comfortably. Fully stocked kitchen supplies, games, extra cozy blankets, pet necessities, bonfire stuff, and a thoughtful extra cabinet full of “just in case” items. We loved the large outdoor deck and lake access. We spent time kayaking, swimming (floating dock in the middle of the small lake). Spent a day out in Alpena (45 minute drive) at the Starlite beach and Austin Brother’s brewery...
