„Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und alles entspricht den Fotos im Inserat. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Innenstadt kann man von der Wohnung aus zu Fuss erkunden. Sie liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Stadtmauer. Die Abwicklung hat sehr gut geklappt. Parkplätze gab es immer genügend vor der Tür. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.“

„Nice clean cottage in a small village up a hill with several walking routes starting from or passing your front door (check Komoot). Large box filled with information about the neighborhood. Interior is a bit outdated but matches the rental fee. Easy contact with host. Great wifi for the kids One suggestion: install flat ceiling lamps in kitchen and hallway to prevent (tall) people from bumping into them and accidently breaking them...“

„Die Unterkunft liegt in einem nördlichen Stadtteil von York in einem Reihenhaus. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 15 Min. in der Stadt, für Ausflüge, z.B. in die North York Moors oder an die Ostküste, ist man schnell auf der Ringstraße und umgeht den Stadtverkehr. Parkplätze waren vor dem Haus regelmäßig vorhanden - außer, als einmal im nahen Stadion der Minstermen ein Fußballspiel lief. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf mit üppigen Öffnungszeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Haus selbst war ...

„Wir haben den Aufenthalt in York sehr genossen. Das Haus ist als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen der verschiedenen sehr interessanten Museen und Sehenswürdigkeiten Yorks gut geeignet und bietet allen Komfort, den man sich für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt wünscht.Wir haben uns auch über den netten Empfang mit Getränken, Rosinenschnecken und Müsli gefreut und empfehlen diese Unterkunft gerne weiter.“

„Very nicely renovated historic property. Fantastic for a family getaway after Christmas. Easy access in to the town center. Plentiful hot water. One observation is that the kitchen was cold/drafty and as we visited in winter this was particularly noticeable. The door to the main bathroom doesn’t close properly but did not impair our usage of the bathroom. Overall a wonderful stay!“
