Das Mandarin ist ein luxuriöses Haus am Wasser, das sich auf einem 1,2 ha großen GrundstĂŒck mit Blick auf Moriah Cay und den umliegenden Land- und Meerespark erstreckt. Das Mandarin liegt ideal in der NĂ€he der Schnittstelle zwischen Great und Little Exuma und bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, jeden Tag etwas Neues zu entdecken.

Das Mandarin verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 4 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und 4 1/2 Badezimmer, einen Garten, eine Garage, einen Pool und eine Dockingstation. Das Anwesen ist voll klimatisiert und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine separate Bar mit Hibachi-Grill und zahlreiche Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten.

Das Haus liegt in einer Sackgasse vom Queens Highway entfernt in der privaten und abgeschiedenen Nachbarschaft von Moriah Harbour in Hartswell, Great Exuma.

Die Unterkunft bietet bequem Platz fĂŒr 8 Erwachsene in Betten und 2 zusĂ€tzliche Kinder.

Moriah Cay (und eine der besten SandbĂ€nke und StrĂ€nde in Exuma) ist weniger als 500 Meter von Ihrer HaustĂŒr entfernt, und Man O War Cay ist ebenfalls 500 Meter entfernt. Das Anwesen ist vollstĂ€ndig vom wunderschönen Moriah Cay Land und Sea Park mit Dutzenden abgelegenen weißen Pulverschnee-StrĂ€nden umgeben.

Kajaks und ein 10-Fuß-Schlauchboot sind im Preis inbegriffen und bieten Zugang zu den örtlichen StrĂ€nden, Inseln und Wohnungen zum Fischen mit Knochen. Die Unterkunft verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein 20-Fuß-Boot mit Mittelkonsole, das nach gesonderter Vereinbarung zur Erkundung von Stocking Island, Elizabeth Harbour oder sogar Sandy Cay hinzugefĂŒgt werden kann.

Das Anwesen verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine GeneratorunterstĂŒtzung und ist im Wesentlichen solarbetrieben. Wir verwenden fast das gesamte Haus mit natĂŒrlichem gefiltertem Regenwasser.

Mandarin was a great house that was very nicely appointed. It was super comfortable for the six of us in our party. The water of Moriah Cay was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend this home for your Exuma stay.

It’s hard to put into words the beauty of Moriah Harbor and being able to stay right on her beautiful waters in the Mandarin House. The property was so perfect for our group and allowed everyone their own space to sleep and relax. We loved being able to hang in the pool after our days on the boat and in the water. Many naps were taken floating in the late afternoon sun floating in that pool 😂. The wild life in the harbor right off the dock was spectacular. We saw sting rays, turtles, lemon sharks (harmless), puffer fish, and more! I could’ve explored the area for a month. I was so sad to leave after 8 days. It simply wasn’t long enough. Monica is such a gem and so so communicative, kind, and helpful! We just loved our stay and can’t say enough. I don’t think we will ever stay anywhere else on the island now.

The Mandarin checked all the boxes!!! We had a great stay and will keep it on the list to consider staying again!!! However, one of the bedrooms bathroom, you have to go outside to get to it. It's the pool bathroom. The only other thing to consider is the dock. Good built dock with deep water even at low tide. The ladder could be better. Our group had some 60 year olds and had to pick them up at Browns Marina just down the road. With the larger boat we rented for our group of 7. The dinghy runs great and is perfect for a sandbar visit. Pool was awesome and the air conditioning was amazing, trust me that's important! The kitchen is the common area and has plenty of room to meet eat and watch TV. The laundry room is perfect, out of the way so anyone could wash clothes and not disturb the other folks, it is where the half bathroom is located. Monica took great care of us, she had Krissy meet us and they always responded quickly and answered all our questions. So, 5 stars except for the pool bathroom and the dock ladder!

My family (my mom, 2 sons aged 15 and 26), my boyfriend, my son's girlfriend, and I stayed last week. This home is nothing short of amazing. The location is far enough from town that it is not loud or busy, but close enough to get what you need without a lot of hassle. The home itself was immaculate and everything you will need is available. We cooked 2 nights and every morning for breakfast and everything that we needed was available in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The rooms are spacious and the layout is such that you can enjoy privacy when needed. The view is to die for. My children fished off of the dock and we did snorkel from there. We saw sting rays and had a turtle that kept us company every day while we were there (we named him Samuel) and he likes to eat squid. There was also a small nurse shark that hung out one day. We were able to rent a boat and go to some of the sandbars that are closeby and I cannot decribe the beauty. We were also close enough to go to Chat N Chill for a while one day by boat. Definitely rent a car so you can get to dinner and the market because it is about a 20 min ride into town. Overall, if i could give 10 stars, I wouldn't hesitate. The owners were always available (I communicated with Monica on multiple occasions, she always responded very promptly, answered all questions, and we were greeted at the home upon arrival. Definitely worth every penny!

We loved our stay at the Mandarin House. It was perfect for a group of long time friends. Everybody had both space to get away and a great family spaces to get together. We cooked together, hung out by the pool and explored the island. Monica made excellent recommendations for activities, services and restaurants. The staff is great too, they came by frequently to check on things and make sure we had gas for the grill, towels and supplies. I would recommend that they get new paddles for the paddle boards. Overall we had a great time.

We loved our stay at the Mandarin. Comfortable and peaceful, it was just what our family needed. The pool was perfect and the kitchen plus bar area were super fun. What a lovely way to experience the Bahamas.

Beautiful spot, super convenient, lovely people. Groceries easy to find. Kitchen perfect for food prep and group meals. Sitting by pool lovely. We had some challenges with the ac units smelling of mold due to lack of use, bleaching prior to guests arrival would solve that.

The house was absolutely perfect!! Monica had fast, excellent communication from the time we booked through check out. We hired a Chef Keva to cook our meals which is an excellent way to fully enjoy your vacation. We loved hanging out at the bar area after a long day on the water. The dock was perfect for our boat rental drop off where we explored Moriah Cay and then spent the afternoon at Chat n Chill. A short drive to Tropic of Cancer Beach which might be the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We had a lovely dinner at Blu on the Water, a short drive from the property. I would highly recommend the Swimming with the Pugs All Day Tour (Staniel Cay). So much fun! It also includes a stop to see endangered Iguanas, swimming with Nurse Sharks, snorkeling Thunderball Grotto, and lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club. Would absolutely stay here again!

The perfect place for 2 couples. It was great-each couple had their own space in the evening but we ate breakfast together in the main house each morning and gathered to play cards and just hangout. We were there in September and there were not a lot of restaurants that were open so we did a lot of cooking in the evening as well. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in The Mandarin for a week in July. It was amazing! Great location as long as your ok being outside of town (which we were)! Only minutes from Forbes Hill (highly recommend). We rented a boat for three days and it was wonderful having it to visit places like Chat N Chill, Hoppers Bay and Starfish Beach. The dingy was used the other days and it worked great while we were there. We fished and snorkeled right off the dock. The house was plenty big enough for our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids with one being a toddler that slept in the crib included with the house). There were minor issues that Monica addressed appropriately. The property could use some freshing up (like a new dining table- it was on the verge of breaking while we were there) and some additional kitchen supplies (like cookie sheets)
minor things in the grand scheme. It was a dream vacation with our family and we made memories that will live on forever!!

We loved our stay at Mandarin. Monica was extremely helpful. A few issues with the dingy. Wasn’t working until two days prior to departure. Owner was on top of issues and trying to solve the problem. All in all we had a great memorable trip.

We loved our stay at the Mandarin. Monica met us in Georgetown and we followed her to the property where she gave us a helpful tour. During the week, she was very easy to get a hold of and helped us with any questions we had. The property itself was beautiful and charming (it is more of a "campus"). Our teenager stayed in the small apartment on her own and she appreciated her own space. The main house has the kitchen, main living and dining area, a wonderful laundry room, and another king bedroom ensuite with a huge closet with a crib. There was lots of room to unpack and fold/hang clothes. The other house had a big room with a large bed + bunkbed where our 9 and 10 year olds stayed on their own which was perfect. Another couple with their 2 year old stayed in the other king bedroom ensuite, which was large and comfortable. This second complex also has what I would call an "entertaining" room with a hibachi grill (we did stirfry one night), a bar window and seating, a very cold fridge perfect for beer, and fun musical instruments. The pool was fun for the kids and the dock had a dinghy, paddleboards and kayaks. There was snorkle gear to use which we kept in our trunk all week because you will want it when exploring all the beaches. The location was perfect. . . close to the grocery, gas and shops in Georgetown. The kitchen at Mandarin was well stocked for cooking. The Forbes Hill beach 8 minutes away was our favorite! We would recommend the Mandarin 10/10!

Nice home with good amenities. Plenty of space to spread out or spend time together as a large group. Enjoyed cornhole, the pool, paddle boarding, the dinghy (once the engine was swapped out), the hibachi grill, and swimming off the dock. Communication with the property manager was excellent and the small issues that popped up were addressed quickly. Small repairs are needed, like tightening the cabinets and securing the dishwasher. We had a wonderful time and would visit this property again.

The location was exactly what we were looking for. The house is a little worn and not as clean as I keep my own house but it didn’t bother us and we would go back. It had everything we needed to have a enjoyable vacation. Hands down our favorite vacation yet. The dingy boat is unreliable so definitely take 2 paddles out when you go out. Monica was very responsive and helped us plan all the details. Take the trip!
