We ate most our meals and played many board games while taking it all in from the patio. The unit was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Lots of towels and beach chairs for use around the lake. « This home was an ideal size for our family of six, with the bunkhouse being a great place for the older kids to hang out. It was fun to see eagles, owls and have daily visits from a mother deer and her three fawns. Although we didn’t see any whales, watching and tracking the multiple shipping vessels was fun and interesting. And to top it off, sitting in the hot tub watching the world go by was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this vacation home- everything was perfect. »

« My spouse, son & I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed to fix simple meals and enjoy cozy evenings. I suggest that before coming to Whidbey Island that you review ferry schedules! You may be able to reserve passage, but must do so well in advance in summer, etc. Overall, a delightful experience for us all! »

The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries. »
