I stayed at this property at the end of June, 2023. In July I checked my bank statement and found out I was charged twice for my stay (once through Expedia and once through the hotel itself). I contacted the hotel for 3 weeks straight and tried again in August and September to sort things out to get a refund for the extra charge on my credit card and it has still not been resolved. Every time I called they said they would take my name and phone number and that the manager/owner would call me back. The manager/owner has never contacted me to resolve this issue.

Room was not ready until 2 hours after the check-in time with no communication ahead of time. The room was clean but it was missing cups and coffee to go with the coffee machine. There were 2 sets of towels when the room was booked for 4 people. This inn is severely understaffed for its size. The poor staff are responsible for running the hotel, taking pizza orders and being servers at the restaurant. I’m sure there would be friendlier service if they were not so stressed. Overall it’s an okay place if you don’t mind poor service.

Perfect location to use as a home base when journeying up the peninsula. Very clean, well maintained property. Too bad the smokers stand just outside the side entrance, no coffee supplies available (ran out) and wifi was easily overwhelmed.

Counter and Dining Staff very efficient, accommodating and friendly. Dining Room was busy with a a lot of people there but the food arrived fast and was delicious. Room was spacious and very clean. Would definitely stay there again

the whole furnishing, carpeting, lobby, paneling, foot traffic was W.A.Y. past it's prime, renovate or tear it down and rebuild. The carpeting and bedspreads were from the 60's!! REALLY!!!!

Thanks for your feedback! I’m not sure what you are referring to with your post. We only have carpet in our hallways to keep the noise to a minimum. We upgraded all our bedding along with all rooms 4yrs ago. Our lobby and restaurant was also completely renovated over the past 5 yrs.

Slow to start then right on track
The check was slow but that was because they were short handed the one person who was checking people in and running the front desk was also bartending and doing maintenance all at once but over all it was a great stay

The front desk takes too long to get me check in and her attitude is not nice. There’s a ramp for guests to use to go up to second floor without having to go up the stairs but she didn’t tell me at check-in. There’s no microwave at the facility

Spent one night here and it was a very nice experience. The staff was so warm and friendly. They did not have breakfast options, but had both a pizza place and a pub on site. There was also a Robins Donuts just a 10 minute walk away. It was located on the main highway with gas station near by. Folks in the community were also warm and friendly. It was a good stay. Would come again.

The property was great, the rooms were very nice. The only thing that we didn’t understand or appreciate was the lady who knocked on our door both mornings at 9:30am, and even tried to enter the room the morning we were leaving 2.5 hours prior to our check out time. It was super weird and unnecessary.
