Overall, this is a nice place and we consider staying again. Details like the game shed, fenced in backyard and puppy bowls and treats for furry friends set it apart. The yard is spacious. Pretty kid friendly and had basics for cooking. Also note that many restaurants around the area close pretty early and/or close several days a week, so something to consider. We traveled in the summertime so really peak season for the Poconos. If you're traveling in slower months, I imagine there might be even less options. Pros: It's quiet and secluded, so very relaxing. The space is ample so even with 5 people we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Indoor and outdoor dining options - cute breakfast nook inside and picnic table outside. The fire pit gave a great vibe and gave us the perfect mix of outdoor (camp-like) experience with the comforts of home. The hosts did a great job of communicating directions and leaving helpful information in the house. And, as mentioned before, the fenced in backyard and game shed.Cons: Because of the secluded location, you really can't walk anywhere because everything is private property - so no morning strolls, you will need to get in the car and drive to one of the trails. The beds are uncomfortable. For rentals, it's pretty standard not have to the MOST comfortable beds, but these were worth noting. When using hot water the whole house rumbles (sure there's a reason, but just kind of odd). The cleanliness of the house was lacking.
